An overview of products that I have used up (most of these til they`re empty).
1. L`oreal Clean Definition Telescopic Mascara:
Has a rubbery brush, and primarily lengthens and defines. The best mascara I`ve used for lengthening.
2. Cover Girl Lash Blast Waterproof Mascara:
Also has a rubbery brush and is the best mascara I have used for volume and holding a curl.
3. L`oreal Lineur Intense Brush Tip Liquid Eyeliner:
This eyeliner has lasted me FOREVER. Probably 2 years and i`m still using it. (I know some of you might be grossed out by the fact that I kept it for that long, but if its not skincare or foundation/concealer, I dont stop using products til theyre DONE!) I`m only starting to notice that I need to go over it a few times now. I also like the brush tip because it can give a very precise line.
4. Clinique Acne Solutions Clarifying Lotion (Toner):
I had mild-moderate acne a few years ago (like 8-10 active pimples on my face at all times in the t-zone), and i used the entire acne solutions line from clinique and it got a lot better in about 2-3 months. I dont use the cleanser or benzoyl peroxide treatment anymore. But I still use and repurchase this.
I`m not sure if this is going to work on other people because I know its difficult to find things that do, I guess it was kind of a coincidence that this worked for me.
5. Clinique Pressed Powder:
I bought this at a sale for about $10 and now i literally just shake the compact to break up the little bits. This was a good powder, but I probably wouldnt purchase this at the regular retail price
6. Clinique Moisture Surge:
I bought this at the same sale for about $20 and while it was a nice moisturizer, I probably wouldnt buy it at the retail price
7. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion:
I am almost finished this bottle, and while it is a really popular moisturizer loved by many, I don`t think i`ll be repurchasing for a while. I think this is good for drier skin or during the winter months, but I have oily/combination skin and it kind of feels sticky when i put it on. I just use it on my cheeks because my skin there is normal
8. Everyday Minerals Loose Powder:
I have it in `winged butter` and I thought this was a good color match for me. Most foundations have a orange-y tint and I like that this one is more yellow/golden.
9. Anabelle Kohl Eyeliner:
Creamy, but not TOO creamy, pigmented pencil eyeliner. I think anabelle is only sold in Canada though.
10. Elizabeth Arden Cream Concealer:
I got this at another sale for $9, and I loved it. As much as I like it , I wouldnt pay full price for it
11. L`oreal Bare Naturals Loose Powder:
This is a really good drugstore powder that provides a lot of coverage, but unfortunately this kind of gives me an orange cast yet I still used it up haha.
The color I have is 460 Nude Beige. If I do decide to try this again, I might go for a lighter shade. For reference I am NC 20-25
