i got these 100 calorie snacks in a package from costco. there are a few different flavors in the box, and the mini brownies are just one type.
i love brownies, but honestly they have no nutritional value. they`re just sweets and even though they are so chocolatey and unbelievably delectable, i don`t really have them at all anymore.
these brownies aren`t like your typical thick brownie, loaded in cocoa and super chewy and delicious. they`re small little mini squares that are a little chewy but nowhere near as good as the real thing. i don`t think they`re bad... they kinda taste like the little debbie brownies i used to have when i was a kid, only with fewer calories. i think the low calorie count also results from using a lot of sugar substitutes like splenda instead of actual sugar.
there are actually a lot in the bag, and i think it`s quite satisfying. it`s also sweet rather than salty, so the taste lingers longer, which makes it feel more satisfying.
overall, these are okay. i don`t think i`d repurchase just a box of them though. i think i should just stop eating processed 100 calorie snack packs period and just snack on a banana, apple, strawberries, or grapes since that`s fresh. i`m trying to cut processed foods out of my diet, so once i`m done with this box of 100 calorie snacks, i don`t think i`ll repurchase them.
have you tried 100 calorie snack packs before?
