I am a huge fan of balloons ever since I was a little girl. I always buy balloons for every holiday possible (and expect balloons for holidays related to me) but balloons can get quite expensive. I prefer balloons that last at least a week and I don`t just want one either! Balloons range anywhere from $3 to $6 at your local Grocery Store/Drugstore and during holidays especially like Valentine`s Day and Mother`s Day - prices are jacked up.
Where do I buy my balloons? DOLLAR TREE! Each balloon is only $1. Dollar Tree is smart knowing many people will buy Mother`s Day balloons so they blew up a bunch throughout the store so you basically grab and stand in line. You don`t have to wait for them to blow up your balloons which could be time consuming like you would do at Party City. Not only are the balloons cheap but they last quite sometime.
BALLOON REVIEW FROM DOLLAR TREE: (I wish I did a before/after photo)
- Baby Shower Balloon
> My sister received a baby shower balloon from my aunt in November 2013. The balloon was inflated until March 2014. Obviously the ballon wasn`t 100% inflated but it was 25% inflated and still floating.
- Valentine`s Balloons
> My boyfriend bought me a bunch of balloons in February 2014. They were 25% inflated until last week.
Overall: I would highly recommend Dollar Tree for balloons - they have a decent selection. I bought 4 balloons for my mom, (2) Happy Mother`s Day, (1) Purple Star and (1) Yellow Star. Her Mother`s Day present is coming in on Monday.
By the way, HAPPY MOTHER`S DAY TO ALL YOU MOTHERS OUT THERE! =)
