Today while I was shopping, I stopped at the dollar store. I wanted to get some batteries and some little things for school. I went the the makeup `section` and was looking at fake nails when something caught my eye. `Maybelline Color show Nail Polish.` I went right over to it and saw about 5 different shades. They were all limited edition products, too! So, I grabbed the nude shade. Its name is `Lust for Bust` Shade: 757. I know the Maybelline Color Show nail polishes are very good quality. I have about 3 others.
So, basically, when you would buy this from walmart, meijer, kroger, or any drugstore, the price would be about 3-4.00 dollars. But, I bought this at the dollar tree for 1.00! I`m so excited to try it out later today!
For the Physicians Formula products, I got three things. I got the `Shimmer Strips.` They`re a `Custom eye enhancing eyeliner/eyeshadow/highlighter 3-in-1 for blue eyes`. So, what this basically is, is just a three in one product (Like i said). I haven`t opened the package yet to see what it looks like (saving that till tomorrow!) but the package says `Custom Glamour Tool: -highlighter&Eye shadow applicator `rounded tip is paired with the light shade for highlighting and all over lid application` -Eyeliner&Eye shadow applicator `pointed tip is paired with the dark shade for lining and contouring``
So, it basically sounds like it is a double-ended product with an applicator sponge on one side and an eyeliner on the other. Sounds interesting! Again, I payed 1.00 dollar for this. The original price is 11.95! Great deal!
Some of the claims for this product are `Hypoallergenic. Fragrance-free. Paraben-Free. Gluten Free. Dermatologist approved. Safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers`
The next product from Physicians Formula was the `Organic wear pressed powder.` I got mine in the shade `Translucent Light Organics.` I`ve already tried this product today (That`s why the packaging in the photo is torn) and i like it a ton! The only bad thing to say about this is that if you apply to much or use a hard hand while doing this, it may come out orangey-toned but it`s easy to blend it. It claims to `Even out skin tone and texture to restore skin smoothness.` and also `Natural antioxidan helps shield skin from harsh environmental aggressors` I agree it evened my skin tone! I really love the container this product came in. It feels like it was recycled. It has a mirror on one end with a brush and the other side is the actual product itself. It`s not a `clip` type thing where you snap it closed- its magnetic! I thought that was interesting. The product itself is brown and pink mixture to create the perfect shade. I was skeptical at first. I mean, who wouldn`t think it would turn their skin brown!? :P. The price for this can range from 13.99-17.77. I really recommend it! It gives a nice natural look to my skin. It doesn`t look like i have powder on.. its amazing.
The final product was the `Wanderful Brow wand.` It says it`s a `Automatic brow wax stick. 2-in-1 shaper & filler.` Some of the claims for this product are `Hypoallergenic, Fragrance Free, Safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers, dermatologist approved, it`ll last all day without flaking, clumping, or feeling greasy` The price (I`m pretty sure) is somewhere around 4-7 dollars. Not quite sure.. but this product is discontinued sadly :(
But i recommend going to your local dollar tree and looking for them!
