2012 Beauty Trends and the Products to Match: My Picks and Tips

1. Statement Lips...step out of the nude rut! Liven it up with a bright red or fuchsia lipstick. Go over your lips with translucent powder for a trendy matte finish (that will last!) and take foundation or concealer and skin colored powder to outline your lips and avoid smudges. Line your upper lashline with black liquid, cream, or gel (you could even try pencil) eyeliner. For the wing, I basically extend the imaginary line of my lower lashline if it were to keep going, for an idea of the angle. Have Q-tips and eye makeup remover handy to fix any mistakes (Or my favorite- Almay makes q-tips that already have makeup remover in them). Go over this line with a pencil brush and dark eyeshadow, just to make it a bit smudgier. And you're ready to hit the CATwalk. This particular color really defines cheeks when you apply it high on the cheek bones, as Tracy Reese models wore during fashion week (see sourcelink).
