I made these lovely mini cupcakes recently. Its all very simple really. I bought a pre prepared pack of sponge cake mix from Tesco. It was only about 60c. Any pre prepared sponge cake mix will do though! I poured the mix into mini cupcake wrappers, baked them for 10 minutes and then left them to cool for another 10 minutes.
After that I iced them with an icing gun and chocolate fudge Betty
Crocker icing from a tub. Any thick icing will do though! Of any flavour of course :) Then I cut strawberries in half and popped them on top! All very simple really, and in case you are wondering... Very tasty!
Okay so it is a very small haul (only 3 things) but I am pleased :) I got a cute red sheer top from A - Wear with white birds on it. I got some shorts with floral fabric at the ends and I got a nice scarf with some beads and other things on it. Its a nice outfit for under €15!
I got this hairstyle done in a place called Charming in Dublin city centre. Its a brilliant hairdressers and I am really pleased with the cut. I have really thin hair and for once it looks quite thick :) The style has held all day! (normally once you step out of the hairdressers it doesn't look as good) It is definitely my favourite haircut yet.
I was in a shop in Dublin city centre today that sells American candies and I came across Bacon Popcorn :D I didn't buy it because it was so expensive for it but I thought it was really funny! I don't think I would like to eat though.. But I would definitely try it! :D
This is a variation of the zebra print nails I occasionally do! It is done freehand with a nail art pen so there are some mistakes. I actually really loved these nails! They really brightened up my outfits! (I wear a lot of dark colours) So fun to do but they were a bit time consuming.
I wore these lashes for a shoot recently (see picture) and they were extremely comfortable. Some lashes this big weigh down your eyes but they were very light! The only problem was I could see them all the time just above my vision but that's to be expected with lashes this big. I would rate them 8/10. They only lost some points because they fell apart really easily when I took them off. They are
from Inglot, the name of the lashes is 'Eyelashes 26F'.
So this is my attempt at pink zebra print nails! They are done free hand with a nail art pen so there are a few mistakes :) I really like them though! They look so funky :) I did a few variations of colours with the zebra print but I think these are my favourite
Bought these make up brushes in Penneys (Primark) today. The blending brush was €1.89 and the gel eyeliner brush was €1.49. So far I am pleased. The blending brush is dense and very soft. I tried it out and it did a pretty good job. The gel liner brush is rigid enough to be able to get precise lines with the liner. Pretty good find for so cheap :)
Picked these red heels up in Penneys (Primark) about 3 weeks ago and I love them! I actually wear these heels more than any others now. They go with most outfits and are comfy to wear considering they are 6 inches. They have stood up to some wear and tear of nights out at various nightclubs and pubs so they are quite durable. I also receive a lot of compliments on them from people thinking they
are designer ;) At €15 they are a bargain and well worth looking at! They come in a few different colours too.
I love this stuff! I always stock up when its on sale in Boots. Any time I had an eczema break out, or just general dry skin, I put this stuff on and it would clear it up and sooth the itch right away. I love it so much that I just use it every night now on my legs, chest and arms! (where I am prone to eczema break outs) I think its perfect if you go swimming or have a work out and your skin is
irritated from the chlorine or sweat. It soothes it almost immediately! Considering I would be kept up most nights with the itching and now I forget I have eczema, its great! Of course I couple it with the coconut oil after a shower (mentioned in an earlier post) :)
