Display: soft tofu stew with seafood (i'm drooling just blogging about it!) & chicken wings and fries (i needed to make a combo) Location: Red place (k-town, christie-bloor) ... It's not actually called the red place but a lot of people refer to the restaurant by that cause the banner is red and the name is in korean. & not everyone knows how to read korean. Also, if you're hungry at odd hours,
Owl, right next to it is open 24/7 =) Anyways, about the tofu stew... what can I say? It's amazing! especially during winter when it is cold out and you want a hot meal =) the tofu is soft, the soup is hot and a bit spicy. If you never had korean food, it's worth a try (this does not include korean BBQ!) usually everything on the menu are cheap and affordable. Recommendations : marinated short ribs, pork bone soup (if you are eating with a few people, order the casserole), rice cake with noodles, tofu stew and kimchi fried rice(double the egg) Remember; korean food is soul food =)
City of party go-ers =) *legal drinking age = 18!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVED the white sand beach! It was so relaxing walking down the beach while the sun was setting =) it was peaceful. I stayed at the Palma Real during August, & i paid about $650 for a 7 day all inclusive. I didn't have high expectations when I went & honestly it was a bang for the buck! I loved it. No bugs in our rooms, the staff were
friendly, the lobby was okay.. Rooms were clean and comfy and it had a 24 hour snack bar! PS. ask the hotel clerks were the party is at, its a different venue every night! and also, order the ham & cheese sandwich at the airport! =) And remember to bring toilet paper!
This was actually a few years back & it was the first time i went on a plane! & guess what? i paid for the ticket myself! =) I went to attend a relative's wedding and they did the ceremony on top of a building. The scenery was jaw dropping! Also, I went to vegas for a few days. Too bad i wasnt considered legal in the states!!! or else I'd be all up in the clubs saying eh baybay, ;) On the
brighter note, I'm legal there now!!!! hopefully will return soon. But i need to learn how to drive first! so, i can do a car rental and just explore around. =)
This is just for fun! since i have you girls as my friends on this & since you literally are my only friends on this.. for now... hopefully T__T Anyways, just wanted you to know that its hard to come by true friends. and I'm very grateful to have met you special ladies! you are like my everythingss! My little precious babies! Together, lets make more new and exciting memories. Lets grow old and
play some mah jong and have dim sum dates =) kisses&hugs!
Dishes: Chicken cutlet & Chicken fruit salad!! These dishes are so good. And the fruits on one of the dishes didn't taste bad warm either =) Camto is a restaurant/bar located in korea town(Christie-bloor). The best thing I like about this place is all the appetizers they feed you with when you order drinks! THE MORE DRINKS YOU ORDER, THE MORE FREE.. YES, FREE FOOD THEY GIVE YOU =) The first set
of FREE appetizers you receive are fried banana with chocolate sauce, kim-chi, edamame, AND fries... you cant go wrong with free apps! & PS. always order combos! =)
what you need:
Barcardi mixers (purchase at METRO)
White rum
Blender
&& lots of ice!
this is perfect for BBQ's and sunny days! i originally bought everything and tried to make this from scratch and it was literally a waste of money. The bacardi mixers are SUPER CHEAP compared to all the ingredients needed to make pina coladas and they taste SOO GOOD! definitely, worth a try!
PS. dont
forget to use clear cups! and YOU MUST BUY THOSE UMBRELLAS!
