Not a complete surprise, but Nintendo has announced that they will be working on a new Mario game that will be compatible with the Nintendo 3DS. There has yet to be an original Mario 3D on a Nintendo handheld. Mario's creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, said late last year that fans should expect both 2D and 3D games on the 3Ds and that he wants to show people what the new Super Mario Bros. will be like as soon as possible. Exciting, but I am still not a fan of the 3DS.
