The new Apple iPhone 5 was only unveiled last night, and the pre-orders have already sold out. Wow. Talk about crazy Apple fanatics. It is only the initial batch, so maybe Apple will come out with another batch of pre-orders soon. If not, you're gonna have to wait in a long, long line for one when it is finally released September 21.
Here are some of the details about the iPhone 5 in case you are interested in getting one.....
Name: iPhone 5
Screen: Longer, but not wider than the iPhone 4S. Room for a 5th row of icons in home screen.
Colors: White&Silver or Black&Slate
Camera: Still 8 megapixels
Dock: "Lightning", meaning it is smaller than the one we have gotten used to.
I don't think the iPhone 5 is anything too spectacular, although that is how I feel about every new Apple gadget that is released. The thing that irks me the most is the new docking port, but I guess with a fifth generation gadget you really can't do anything else profitable, huh? I mean, I guess having all these die-hard Apple fanatics jumping to buy every gadget that is released was not enough money. Now they have to change the port size to get more money from consumers.
Obviously, I will not be purchasing an iPhone 5. Although it might be a good time to stick up on the stereos/iPod docks for the older generations that I own.

i will be getting it.. only because ive had the 3gs for 4 years. theres no phone that compares to the smoothness of an iphone
I dont get what the hype about the iphones are.. my friend lost her android and was using a iphone in place of it.. and hated it.. so she returned it to get an android..

lol they put them back up. it was down for a little bit. They probably needed to review their inventory. I was able to order one in the afternoon. Do you plan to get one?

i wasn't going to order one anyway. 1 i son;t have the money and 2 I'd rather have the Samsung Galaxy S III.
I don't think that I will be getting an iPhone 5 I will keep the android that I have maybe upgrade to a better android phone.
