YouTube will be unavailable and removed from being standard in your apps available on the iPad. If you are a heavy YouTube user like me you will be very upset to learn this. You can still download the app via the App Store but it will be the iPhone application.
This is a screenshot from my iPad of how ridiculously small it is. Clearly there is a size difference since it was developed for iPhone, not iPad. Apparently google is working on developing an app for iPad so we aren't stuck with this ridiculous player.
Before all of you suggest to watch YouTube via the safari browser or google chrome or what have you, you can't. Or there is a very limited selection of videos that are playable (the ones that use QuickTime) otherwise you can't watch YouTube on an Internet browser on any iOS.
Whether you have yet to upgrade and be able to keep YouTube or not I don't know. From what I've read iPhone 4S and the new iPad (ipad3) users will be unable to downgrade for the time being (unless you decide to jailbreak either device) but there are ways to do it with other devices. That is something you will have to look up on your own.

this comes becasue Apple wants to get rid of Android, which is a Google OS. And Google owns YouTube. But i believe that Apple is just going to hurt themselves with this.
i really did not like that they deleted the youtube app
I already updated and didn't even noticed this. Oh well, I never really use YouTube on my iPad.
