Sport & Fitness » WLC Week 5 (Update)

I know, I know. I didn't do ANY daily posts for week 5. It's midterm season right now, and I have been SWAMPED. so I'm going to to this one blog post as an update for last week (week 5).

I am super proud of myself, I made it to the gym Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (my usual), and I managed to do a 20 minute yoga routine Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

I have been keeping track of everything I've been eating, although I have not been making a meal plan. I don't find planning my food works for me, so that's okay.

I had kind of a "cheat" weekend for food, treating myself to some ice cream at grandma's house and some chocolate at work.

My weight loss to date is 7.2 pounds!
I've noticed tremendous changes in my energy levels, and my moods. I find when I go work out I feel better, more energized, and I can make it through the day without needing a nap. Same goes for when I finish a healthy meal (I DID have a 100% "clean" day this week, WOO!). I love how I feel when I work out and eat healthy.

I would just like to give a big thank you to Sarah Dussault (youtube.com/sarahsfabchannel, twitter: @dietsarah). I have been following her on Youtube for over a year, I think, and she is just FABULOUS (as her channel insinuates!). So, if you're reading this Sarah, thank you for being an inspiration not only to me, but to hundreds of other people out there. I find it so difficult to stay motivated and positive, but you're always in the back of my mind! When I go to buy a chocolate bar I can hear you say, "Kelsie. Are you going to still want that 10 minutes from now? Are you going to still think that chocolate bar is GOD when you can't fit into your Halloween costume?"

So, going into week 6 (even though it's Wednesday today) I feel more positive and motivated than ever!
