If you're someone who uses your fingers/hands too much you can get arthritis. My mom types on the keyboard so much that she now has hand arthritis and it's hard for her fingers to open by herself sometimes so by using the stress ball and finger exerciser it helps.
I, myself use the keyboard so much that someones out of no where, my fingers goes in all directions and just hits the keyboard randomly. It's not good so I often have to use the stress ball and do finger exercises.
Squeezing the ball helps relax your muscles in your hands,wrist without straining them.
Finger exerciser helps you condition your hand/fingers to be more flexibility and prevent injury. IT also gives you better strength, endurance and coordination with the use of your hands!
I take the time randomly when I'm sitting in front of the computer to do these work outs. Just a few minutes a day makes my hands/fingers feel better.
