Hi everyone!
Although I am not a Bolton fan, I saw on my newsfeed the tragedy that occurred in last night's Bolton vs Tottenham FA cup match. I am a huge football fan and never saw such a thing happen before in a game!
During the end of the first quarter, Fabrice Muamba the Bolton midfielder,apparently collapsed face down on the field. No one challenged him or anything like that.
Immediately, everyone knew something was wrong. He was not breathing and remained unconscious even after he was removed on a stretcher. The whole scene was pretty scary and fans and players on the field were in shock.
They applied CPR on him on the field and rushed him to the heart attack centre in London where he is listed as critically ill.
It is such a sad thing to happen. The match officials had no choice but to call off the match.
Muamba is only 23 years old. I hope he makes it! It is so sad and he has a son.

I didn't see the match but I read about that a few days ago; I hope he gets better soon
