Sport & Fitness » And the Weight Loss Journey Begins...

I wanted to start this on New Year's day, but my sister who does Weight Watchers convinced me that I should still eat what I wanted, but I should stop listening to her since I don't want to do that lol. Also I was meaning to pick up these pills all week but I was unable to get my check cashed, etc. Anyways! So my weight loss journey can officially begin now! My sister Laura and I went to Walmart today before the movies and Panera Bread (ooh so bad for you!). We both picked up these cute little notebooks so we could kee track of our weight and foods and whatnot. I also got the pills I was wanting to try, The Zantrex 3 ones. I couldn't decide if I wanted these or the red (fat burning) ones, and I went with these because the red kind suposedly build muscle which is NOT what I wanted. I got 60 pills for like $20. If you want me to do a review on these later I would be more than happy. I want to go back and get a jump rope and maybe DVDs soon! Wish me luck! xox

How has your weight lost journey went on?

Susan Castillo: Yes I know all of that. It's not like I would lose it all then go back to my old ways. Plus these exact pills focus more on energy boosting than fat burning. They're just an aid, like I said. And I eat healthily, and normal amounts. Thank you for your concern though!

just so you know, most people who use pills and weight loss supplements and all that stuff end up gaining the weight back - just fyi, really do your research on it. dramatic/drastic/fast weight loss is not healthy. you do need to make sure you're eating more than 1200 calories, GOOD calories or your body will go into starvation mode and then you really won't lose weight, it's not about losing weight, it's about learning and sticking to good, healthy habits. quite honestly, I think you're going about this the wrong way which only leaves more room to fail, BUT, best of luck to you, hope it works !

Wish you the best of luck with your weight loss. The only advice i would give you is the same as Shannon gave, try to do it without the pills and they should be last resource, if you watch your diet and exercise like you plan to i think you will be successful without the pills. Good luck!

Amanda Burns: A year? That's not the norm. Most people lose 1-2 pounds a week. There are weeks where you have .2 but if your weight loss is not what you anticipate there are ways to change that - eating differently, exercising, upping your water, watching what you're eating. I know someone who just joined WW not even 2 months ago and has already lost 15 pounds and she's been half following the program.

Shannon ツ: Thank you! I somewhat agree with you, I wasn't crazy about taking diet pills, nor were a lot of other people. But I'm kind of in a hurry to lose weight. I want a dramatic change soon, and Weight Watchers I think just takes too long. My sister does it and it took her a year to lose 15 pounds, and I just have zero patience, so. Congrats that it's been working for you though!

Jerica Herrera: I will most certainly do a review! Yeah the red ones just didn't seem right all around, but I haven't heard anything bad about the blue ones yet, so. Thank you so much!

Good luck on your weight loss journey. I don't like the whole diet pill craze, it's just not something I follow or feel is a good way to go about it - since most diet pills have side effects or are addicting. I follow Weight Watchers and have for almost 2 years (it'll be 2 years the end of February) and I have lost a lot of weight eating all the stuff I love and exercising.
