So fellow Luuuxer Lilly Mah announced on her FB she's now Engaged! She's currently vacationing in Hawaii and got proposed to on Anini Beach on Kauai. I've never been to Kauai, only to Maui which is beautiful. I hope to one day visit Kauai and the other islands. =)
When I proposed to my wife we were also on vacation on a Cruise to Bermuda. I proposed to her on the docks on Fisherman's Wharf. Something about beautiful beaches, lovely woman by your side that brings about romantic gestures that tie you up for the rest of your life.

Ahh both of those proposals (yours and Lillys) sound so romantic. I have been to both Hawaii & Bermuda so I agree that those are two really good locations! I am not married but am in a relationship and we have talked about it (although its not happening any time soon!) i'm not really sure where i would want it to be but i would want it to be in private setting..not at a baseball game or restaurant..i would want it to be an intimate moment with just the two of us around.
Thanks everyone :) I'll make a post about it when I am back. We had a romantic dinner and some champagne before it happened. I figured it would happen that night since I got tricked into thinking we were going out for dinner elsewhere and ended up on the beach for dinner. Kauai is beautiful and a definite must and a tonne of movies have been shot there and there are less tourists which is a plus. You should feel lucky you're the only person I will comment on until I come back and catch up lol :p so you better win post of the day for this :p

2. i think i would want something personal, nothing to public cause i'm scared of being in front of a lot of people, but somewhere that means something, like i love the ocean i think the beach would be perfect, especially at night. (hopeless romantic here)
but at the same time, it could be the dumbest thing ever. I think the gesture of it, means the most.
