*Photos are my OWN* When I was vacationing in Hawaii, we stopped by a quiet little beach named nicknamed "Turtle Beach". Why?
It's basically a rest area for turtles. They like to surface to the shore, and take naps right on the sand. It was so adorable and entertaining to watch them relaxing in the sun. They were not shy either! We could walk right up to them and they would not be scared of humans.
I asked the tour guide why some of the turtles were sleeping right in the water, where the the waves kept hitting them (last photo). The guide said some of the turtles were too lazy to move further in shore.. they just slept right where they land. LOL, reminds me of how chillax the turtles were in Finding Nemo!
