Hello everyone!

Serra da Estrela, sometimes referred to as the Serra de Estrela, is the name given to the mountain and the mountain where they meet the highest altitudes in mainland Portugal, the second highest mountain in Portugal (only Pico Mountain, Azores surpasses it). It is part of the wider range called the Central System, the subsystem designated as mountainous system Montejunto-Star, which develops in the direction northeast-southwest from the mount Montejunto, and his father is the ridge-Pico Almanzor. The Serra da Estrela is an integrated landscape area in the Natural Park of Serra da Estrela, that after its formation in July 16, 1976 was established as the largest protected area on Portuguese soil.
