Today my boyfriend and I decided to take a visit to Balboa Park to see if there were any new flowers, plants, see Christmas decoration and so forth. By the Organ Pavilion Stage at Balboa Park there were 8 green booths celebrating the making of Christmas(?) and the birthday of Jesus. These booths are called San Diego's Community Christmas Center Organ Pavilion Balboa Park! It's religious [and I'm not religious so I don't know the meaning behind it except there were lots Jesus, Kids, Family, Camel and so forth. Each booth is different and the background is paint drawn by people, really nice! A bunch of people were snapping photos and I decided to snap some and show you all. I never knew the community provided this and I guess at night, it lights up so that's nice. All my life, I've never seen this here but I doubt it's new. This isn't permanent just during the holiday season. But my boyfriend and I did take a photo with the coffee cookies house, lol. It's also a Christmas set up beside the 8 booths.
This would be a great place to bring your kids and educate them on Christmas and what Christmas is really about [if you're religious or if you're not and want to learn about other religions too] plus get to snap some photos and enjoy the sun light.
Want to visit here?
Check out the source link below for the address and more information.
Since it's the new year, I think they're taking the decoration and putting the houses away soon though so maybe Christmas 2012!
