One of my favorite places to visit in Philadelphia is not a historical landmark like the Liberty Bell. But rather it's a giant terminal of food vendors called Reading Terminal Market. I bring it up now because during this weekend is Wizard World Philly an Comic Book convention I normally attend but can't make it this year unfortunately.
The Reading Terminal Market is conviently located across the street from the Convention Center and just blocks from Chinatown. The various bus terminals including Greyhound is just nearby as well. As with a lot of parts of Philly be careful traveling alone. There are quite a few homeless people in that area.
At the Terminal be sure to try out the Wings and Ribs sold by the Amish. You can also get Philly Cheese steak, and Cupcakes among many other things. They have vendors selling fresh produce as well.
Talk the TALK
1) Have you visited Philadelphia before, which is your favorite part?
2) Do you like eating Philly Cheese steak?
