Luuux

From July 21- August 3, my family & I went on a vacation to San Diego, California. I have two aunts that live our there, and my grandma. My grandma moved out there about two years ago, and my aunts have been there since I was born. This was my first time going to California, and on a plane! I was so scared.

Me + Planes = BAD IDEA. I freak out. But, it was worth it. As I stated we stayed there for about two weeks. Well me and my sister did. My mom stayed for a week & a half, and my brothers stayed for a week. We didn't stay at a hotel, we slept at one of my aunt's houses. We went to the following places in San Diego:

-San Diego Wild Animal Park
-Sea World
-Ocean Side Beach [house from Top Gun!]
-The Mountains [idk what their actual name is.]
-Del Mar Race Track
-San Diego Zoo [Pandas!]
-Petco Park [Dodgers VS Padres game! I'm from Chicago, but I guess it's like Sox VS Cubs]
-Snorkeling in La Jolla.
-The Midway
-Old Town San Diego State Historic Park
-Knot's Soak City
-Coranado Beach

I had the TIME OF MY LIFE in California. I eventually want to move there one day. I miss my family so much. My family lives in Escondido, California, which is like a suburb of San Diego. It's perfect there because, as my aunt puts it:

30 minutes one way will take you to the beach
30 minutes a different way will take you downtown
30 minutes another way will take you to the snow in the mountains [in the winter of course]
30 a different direction will take you to the desert.

So basically whatever climate you want, it's there.

My favorite part was probably that my brother's girlfriend came with for a little bit [she also had family out there] & when we were in La Jolla climbing the cliffs and such,

Overall, this vacation was a HUGE success. I want to move there soooo bad.
