Last night we throw my birthday party at Bowlmor in union square NYC. If you have never heard a Bowlmor it is a bowling ally that draws big crowds with its neon lights, pop music and great drinks and food. Pretty much it is a club feel with bowling. I have to admit it was fun especially with a big group of close friends to laugh around with!

I wanted my birthday party to be relaxing but fun. At a club or lounge it is hard to have a conversation and you have to dress up. At a restaurant you are seated at a big table where you might not be able to move around and mingle. Here we had a club like atmosphere with food and drinks but were able to goof around and talking while waiting for our turns. I dressed cute but comfy and had an excuse to take off my heels and throw on bowling shoes! We even danced and made friends with the people around us.

The staff was very accommodating and the place was clean. I enjoyed all the fun music they were playing and found myself dancing around. I am blaming this on my poor bowling score! It is not the cheapest place but what is in NYC! It is however cheaper than its competitor Lucky Strike. I highly recommend this place or a place like it for a fun party.
