There are some people who have a bucket list of climbing some mountain... but maybe not Mount Everest but it's possible to climb one and could be on someones but they must be mighty rich to afford it.
I'm not very much into nature or would I make it to the top to climb this mountain but I was intrigued to see how much it would cost to climb the highest mountain in the world and your jaws will drop.. it is approximately $82,900 to climb Mount Everest. I wonder if you get a discount if its for two, lol.
Price Breakdown:
Travel expense is anywhere from $2,375 to $6300
Getting to the Everest Base is $2,150
Climbing fees and deposit is anywhere from $19,700 to $37,700
EBC equipment and cooks is $9,300
Oxygen and climbing Sherpas $8,525
Gear $7,000
Misc (Medical kit, communications, evacuation) $8,250 - $12,000
The price of this trip is compared to a Porsche 911 Carrera that cost $82,100. After knowing the price and you can also risk your life: Would you still want to climb Mount Everest? Car or trip? Car that will last you longer than what a months worth of adventure?
Either way, I don't think I would be able to survive this ... it's hard to climb cause of the altitude cause your bodies not used to it. I rather spend that money and travel the world.

I would choose the trip, since that would be once in a lifetime experience. A car is a car, as long as it works and gets you from point A to point B, it doesn't really matter.

Wow, I had no idea it costs that much to climb Mount Everest! I guess if you look at the breakdown there are a lot of things that go into the cost. I doubt that many people would consider climbing it down. Only a few are adventurous enough and have the physical ability to. I know I wouldn't be able to lol.

Seriously? *-* I knew it was going to be expensive, but $82,100 is an insane price. But then again, that outrageous price also makes sure that only experienced people who are ready and willing to do this are gonna climb the Mount Everest. Im sure that 99 % of people here on luuux (including me) wouldnt be physically capable of climbing this mountain.
