Before I left on my San Diego trip Michelle recommended Imperial Beach as a spot for sea shell collecting and man were there a tonne all over the place. I realized at the end of the pier that there are mussels growing all along the poles of the pier and there were some Hispanic men fishing them up with this claw like contraption they made themselves. There were pictures at the restaurant at the end of the pier of fish that people have caught and it was pretty cool. The restaurant will help you filet the fish you catch for a price as well. We collected the above sea shells, but unfortunately my mussel shell cracked in half. It wasn't an ideal day for the beach on the day we went since it was kind of gloomy and we didn't bring our camera :(. There are a bunch of food vendors and there was a pretty good looking woman selling Mexican food from what I remember, but we had a big breakfast prior to going to the beach so didn't part take in any street meat action. We did see some Baywatch action while we were there as there were life guards rushing over to a lady who either fainted or was brought in from the ocean from the surfers, but she was laying down by the time we were walking by. Unfortunately for us, the life guards were not as hot as Yasmin Bleeth from Baywatch haha. I enjoyed myself though because of the sea shell collecting and walking to the end of the pier looking at people fishing and looking at pictures of fish and people that caught them.

I haven't been to San Diego since I was a child, and I was too young to remember much of it. I would love to back one day.

It looks so pretty there! I love collecting seashells and then gluing them onto a little piece of cardboard! I never watched baywatch, but I think Pam is really pretty

My favorite baywatch cast member was Carmen Electra. She had a very short run on the show though. I wish we had real beaches in Chicago.

It was thoughtful of Michelle to recommend places for you to go to. Too bad you were too full to eat the food there. Did you do what you do best and creep and holler at the hot woman too? I use to love Baywatch haha.. there was also another brunette I liked, but forgot her name. Seem so long ago!
