You know you're in for a long day when you're on a yellow school bus with about 20 kindergarten kids. LOL
I joined my daughter on her class field trip on Friday to Green Meadows Farm in Queens, NY. Admission is $9.00 and open to the public. I would highly recommend this place, my daughter had a great time.
It's a very hands on petting farm which allows you to pet rabbits, baby ducks, catch chickens and Japanese silkies. Feed goats and llamas. Ride on a pony and a hayride! They also have a butterfly exhibit which was the main thing the class wanted to see, but I thought it was lacking.
If you need instructions to get there let me know.
Talk the TALK
1) Do you enjoy petting farms?
2) Have you ever tried to catch a chicken? They're mad quick!!!

seems like a fun place for kids.
So you tried to catch a chicken? LOL, I will be so afraid of them :x

That is so nice!! Your daughter is so cute in the photos! She looks so happy!! I love zoos and in fact, I just went to the Queens Zoo in April with my younger cousin. We got to feed the animals haha!
Aww looks So fun for the kiddies!
I haven't gone to a petting farm in so long! I was like in elementary years! Wow, I'm old. lol I wouldn't chase chickens because I'm afraid of them! ><
lol, oh well. At least there was fun involved!

A A: You should. they're young enough to really enjoy it.
Looks like a lot of fun. I'll have to take my kids up there to visit.

Rui Martins: Oh that is awesome! Lot of work.
Michelle Mai Huynh♡: Eh... Touching fish? Should you be touching fishes!
mylittlecasey *: Ha ha the llama reminds me of my wife. J/k. They had tons of fun.
Yes! LOL! Once I tried catching some baby chicks, and the mama chicken went after me, flew up in the air, just high enough to poke my head with her beak. LOL!
lol I like your daughter in the first photo.... **yeah!!!!** I remember going on filed trips like this when I was in school . It was alot of fun. I think the last time I petted non-domestic animals was a year ago? Something like that. The llama looks funny, he/she doesn't like the paparazzi.
