Ghent Light Festival, Belgium

Now here is a great festival that I would love to see in person.
This is the Ghent Light Festival and it happens once a year in Ghent,Belgium in January. If you visit it you can expect to see streets in buildings decorated with lights and different design/effect made with lights and colors. Every year there is a theme for the festival and this year the theme is happiness, wonder and music, a theme inspired by writer Maurice Maeterlinck.
This amazing light sculptures are already a mark of Ghent and something visitors and locals enjoy.
I found some pictures online that show what you can see if visit. I did found some other photos but they were to small to be upload to luuux =( they looked very cool but since they were in a small size I couldn’t upload them and in bigger you can see it better also.

If I ever get to go to Belgium I will make sure to go in this time of the year to see this, seems like a great experience.

I went to this festival, mostly because i only live 20 minutes away from the city. It was truely amazing, seeing all of those boring buildings in such a pretty light. On one building they were even showing the most gorgeous story!
