Every year on CNBC, I see Davos Switzerland figured prominently as the World Economic Forum is held there. The likes of Warren Buffet, Jaime Dimon and other big Bankers, Investors and Hedge Fund type folks get together in the beautiful Swiss Alps. I think to myself, hey I want to be there!
I've always wanted to visit the land that bend over backwards to please the Nazis so they won't get annihilated off the face of the Earth. Neutrality. Pfft! lol j/k. Seriously though, I first fell in love from watching the Sound of Music starring Julie Andrews. I think most of the movie is actually not filmed there just the end when the family escapes. OH Great I just ruin the ending of the movie for you gals! Sorry. =P

oh I didn't know Davos was the specific location for the sound of music. I remember on the travel channel a long time ago seeing Switzerland and the Alps and most importantly, the swiss chocalatiers and pastries there and I went crazy haha. I'd want to go just for the chocolate :)

"The hills are aliveeeee!!" I love that movie! I think I've watched it more than 50 times and know all the songs. I want to visit Switzerland too.
