Azibo The river is a beach which is situated in Macedo de Cavaleiros, Tras-os-Montes. (Portugal)
It is a dam built for almost 30 years to supply irrigation water to the population. But today is one of the most popular tourist sites in the Northeast Transmontano able to compete with the beaches of the coast while it became an example of nature protection.
I was there and recommend it. It is a very nice and quiet place.
In addition to beach, also has a picnic area, but for those who prefer there is also a restaurant it .=)
It is the ideal place to spend a family day for children to play safely!!

Açores is a great place to visit... I was there 2 times and it was 2 different experiences. Who can should go there!
