well, today seems to be a blue kind of day. I don't know why, I pulled out all my polishes and I kept gravitating towards the blues so you know, why fight the feeling right? I started off with Sally Hansen HD polish in Spectrum. I've had it for well over 6 months but hadn't used it yet. holy cow this cheap little polish packs a punch !!! it's of course - glittertastic, I mean major sparkle going on here. it is a light blue base with blue super fine glitter/shimmer through it. it's not very opaque, I used two coats but I'm sure a third one would have looked better. you can still see through the back of the nail so it really is a light base, but it works. it flashes really teal with the camera but it looks quite blue in natural light, I am REALLY liking this shade right now
now, you know I don't like to flash my toes all over the place but I re discovered this one polish and I had to show you. Orly's blue suede is .... well, a blue suede polish. sooo pretty and I love wearing dark nail polishes on my toes. I know this kind of finish tends to chip faster so we'll see how well it works down there. I also felt I needed a little something extra because my nails are so "plain" - they're not but I always feel like I need a little extra. I added a white flower sticker with a shiny stone on my big toe. not sure about the choice though since now all my toe nails are essentially matte and my toes are shiny LOL
