If you are looking for the ideal date movie, this is definitely it. Cheesy, hilarious, and just scary enough that you can pretend to be terrified/cuddle up with the lucky individual who brought you out! The male lead is played by Chris Hemsworth, arguably one of the finest guys on the planet, so you'll get your kicks, although it's definitely a "dude" movie. I think it's so nice that dude movies finally started putting hot dudes in them, so we can pretend to love them, too! I described this film to a friend recently as, "part Cabin Fever, part Tron," before even seeing it, and as it turns out, I was dead on. I know it sounds cheesy, especially to those of us who actually like horror movies, but I promise, it is just the right amount of cheese. You will laugh your ass off and be thoroughly entertained all the way through. Reward your man for having to sit through The Hunger Games with something really ballsy. Go see this movie.
