A touch of a tropical island; the feeling of Hawaii. I have never visited Hawaii myself, but whenever friends or family go to Hawaii, the most popular we gifts we get are shell necklaces or macadamia nuts!
My mother went to Hawaii for a business trip, and it was most interactions and making connections that mattered on this trip, so she was able to enjoy the island with her friends and co-workers. She brought me back a few souvenirs, and one of them was this beautiful necklace. It's a two tiered necklace, the main tier is a combination of lavender crystals and purple shells, the purple shells reflect beautiful blues & greens, and I absolutely love that aspect of it. The second tier is a combination of pearls and shells, the pearls are all different shades of lavender, and aren't organized by shade, which I like. This necklace is definitely a lot nicer than a lot of shell necklaces I've receive in the past, not saying I didn't like the others!
However, this necklace is really not my style, so I have no idea how to wear it, and would love to hear some suggestions! I'm thinking it'll come in handy during the summer thought, with my mint denim jacket, coral crop top, and white shorts. That's the only outfit combination I have in mind for now.
