This past weekend, my friends and I took a spontaneous trip to Santa Cruz. We didn't leave the bay till around 2 so by the time we got there, ate, and got to the boardwalk, everything was closed and the sun was setting. So that was a bummer because I was really looking forward to the rides and all the junk food.
But there is an upside to the sun setting, you get a beautiful view like in the picture. This is taken where the rides are towards the pier. Santa Cruz is one of those places that can be absolutely gorgeous. Or it could be because I appreciate it more now that I don't go to school there. But none the less, a beautiful place to visit once in a while. Definitely the place to go for all the fried foods minus the county fair.
