Sometime after i got my iphone and when it became available for iOS5, i did the jailbreak because i like to have more control over the phone and install apps that are only available on cydia like bitesms.
After some time waiting, the jailbreak for iOS5 in non-A5 processor devices was available but people were waiting for the jailbreak for the iPhone 4S and the iPad2 (both with A5) and the wait is finally over.
The Dev team that had been working on the jailbreak for these devices released today the jailbreak for it that they call "Absinthe A5". This is an untethred jailbreak, meaning you do it once and you can reboot your device with no problems and not having to connect it to the computer ( which you have for tethred jailbreaks).
Go to the pod2g or the greenpoison website(http://greenpois0n.com/?p=173) and check out how you can jailbreak it and free your device.
Do you jailbreak your devices? Are you in favor or against jailbreaking?

1. isn't that supposed to be dangerous?
2. i don't really know.
I jailbroken my phone before and I do love it with all the free apps and everything.
Taylor Johnson: you have to reset to factory settings before you send it back. apple wont be able to tell if you jailbroke it then!
i did on my iphone
Jailbreaks are cool, I just wouldn't get it for my iPod or iPhone.
When you jailbreak iPhones, if it happens to break will you be able to send it back and get a new one?
I haven't jailbroken my ipod and I'm not sure I will. Because if I do, I'll want to download all these apps, and it's only 8GB, so I just don't have the space.
