I got the Canon PowerShot SD1400 IS Camera for my birthday last year since I had really wanted a camera ever since my sister broke my nikon one. This camera is a gem. I love it. It's a nice black color, and very slim so it fits in your pocket and purse without adding much weight. It has various of cool features such as fish bowl effect, color swap, minature effect, etc. I played with the different features for hours, taking the same picture with different effects haha. It's easy to use and easy to learn. It has been such a blessing to have this camera because last november i got a new puppy and i'm so glad I got to document his growth in pictures and videos. I LOVE the video features on the camera as well. Most of the pictures on my luuux page is taken with this camera. I think it's a great point and shoot camera and a must consideration if you're looking for one. Canons are known for their point and shoot. It's a great start out camera as well.

That a good camera, canon has great cameras. I have a sony ( don't remeber the model nº now) and i love it
i have always wanted a canon point and shoot, but never got one. right now i'm using my canon t2i and my samsung tl220. i love them both
