I know a lot of people have probably reviewed Maybelline Falsies, but my experience with the mascara has been rather love/hate so I decided to share how I feel about it. I have really fine lashes that are very short and I have a hard time finding any mascaras that will actually make me look like I have lashes!

This mascara did just that. Whenever I wear it my lashes look a lot longer, fuller, and like they belong to someone else! It's wonderful and dramatic and makes a statement even with a nude eye. So for the purposes of this mascara performing its function, I would definitely recommend it.

That being said, I also am a contact wearer and have very sensitive eyes/skin. This mascara irritates my eyes so much! My eyes end up very itchy when I wear the mascara and my contacts kept getting cloudy. Whatever the formula is...it definitely bothered me. So after using it for a little while I decided to give up on it and go with another brand that didn't exactly give me the effect I wanted...but it didn't make me want to scream either.

Recently I left my mascara at a friend's house, and haven't gotten it back so I tried wearing Maybelline Falsies again. Same itchy eyes, same contact problems...but beautiful full lashes. So I kept using it and now after about two weeks it seems like my eyes are ok with it.

Haha it might not be the smartest choice to keep using a product that initially bothered my eyes, but the effects really are incredible. I stick to wearing it on nights out and times that it won't have all day use to try and limit the irritation.

I'd say, if you aren't a contact wearer or don't have sensitive eyes, go get this product!! Especially for fine short lashes, this works miracles. If you have eyes like mine...just beware, it might give you some problems as well.
