Have you ever gotten your hair cut really short and then attempted to grow it back to long? That's exactly what I'm doing right now, and if you've done it before, you'll know about the awkward length. It's that one length where it's not short enough to be cute and not long enough to be pretty, but it's too short to tie up!
I'm looking into decorative headbands to help change up my hairstyle every day until my hair reaches a better length. Headbands are very cute and stylish depending on what you get and a lot of times it depends on your personality and face shape. I love bows, but I know I wouldn't look good in a bow headband because I just don't have that cutesy kind of personality and when I wear large bow headbands it looks like I did something bad and I'm pretending to be innocent!
I love headbands like this, that you could really wear up until your late 20's. I think after that you should stick to patterned headbands and less of the popup designs, but again that depends!

i hate growing out my hair, but in the summer i always cut it sort, it just doesn't grow back fast enough. i use extensions!
