Yesterday my little sister spilled water on top of my Macbook Pro while I was on it. I tipped it over and dried up all the water with paper towels, but I had no clue what else to do. Eventually it started working again and is working like it did before. Even though I didn't do anything but dry it off and give it a day to dry up any liquid inside, I searched the web to find out what you're really supposed to do.
1. Shut off power and disconnect charger
2. Tilt laptop upside down to keep liquid from running inside
3. Dry up the water the best you can
4. Remove battery
5. Let it dry for 3 days before turning power on
