Hey Luuux!
Yesterday was 'Teacher's Day' here in Korea, so some of the mothers of the students at the academy where I work bought the teachers gifts! I've never seen such generous parents before, so it was really surprising to me, but I was
grateful nonetheless~ Most of the parents would gift things to their students' homeroom teachers, but some of the parents were nice enough to give gifts to every teacher their child learns from :) I never expected to receive any gifts, much less something from Chanel! Keep reading to see what I got :D

♥ Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in 76 Gourmandise
- This was completely unexpected and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it! It's actually the first Chanel anything that I've ever owned and the shade of the lipstick is beautiful! Very appropriate for the Spring/Summer and I can't wait to try it out!
♥ Hera Secret Scent Eyeliner Duo in Pearly Purple/Pearly Grey
- I actually don't wear eyeliner that often, but I thought it was nice in case I ever needed to use one :) I like how one of the sides is a glittery silver color because I could easily use that as a slight accent to my eyes without doing too much~ Hera is a very well-known and reputable brand in Korea, so I was also really surprised when I saw this!
♥ The Face Shop Real Nature Masks in Aloe, Blueberry, & Pomegranate
- The Face Shop is really popular here in Korea, and who doesn't love face masks?! These will come in handy when I want to relax and pamper myself on the weekends :)
♥ L'Occitane Pure Vegetable Soap
- When I first read what this was, I was a little bit reluctant to even try it, but it smells citrus-y and nice! I feel bad for even thinking that it would be weird since it was such a generous gift from a parent~ I'll try this out soon!
♥ Florena Hand Creme
- I've never heard of this brand before, but everyone needs a good hand cream :) It smells very floral and light.

That's it for this haul! I also got a few more gifts, but they weren't beauty related so I didn't post about them. I'm definitely humbled by how kind my students' parents are

Hey Luuux!
This is my first hairstyle post :D I usually just style my hair the same way every single day; air dried and naturally straight. Since I have less time to get ready now because of work, I shower at night and have to do something with my
hair because it never dries in time :T One day, I decided to try french braiding my hair while it was slightly damp and just slept with it braided. When I woke up, I had these perfect waves!
I was really happy with the result and now I usually just french braid my hair every night before I go to sleep :) It's super simple, takes very little time, and creates a look that makes it seem like you put so much effort into styling it :D
_____________________________________________________________________
Let me know what you think of these waves down below! Definitely give french braiding your hair at night a try :D Do tell me if you try it and are as happy with the results as I always am ^^
As always, feel free to rate this post, add me as a friend, or follow me! ^^ If you're feeling extra loving, you're more than welcome to do all three! :) ♥

Hey Luuux Foodlings!
I received a coupon for a free addition of meat at a Korean BBQ restaurant, so my boyfriend and I decided to go :D I've always loved Korean BBQ, so this was to no surprise as delicious as ever! I don't know if it's because I am
actually in Korea, but the food here is amazing! The service is so much better than what you would probably receive at a restaurant in the US (unless you're at a top notch restaurant) and the variety of sides is always a plus :) Keep reading to see what we feasted on ^^
______________________________________________________________________
★ 3 Servings of Pork Belly Strips (Korean BBQ)
- The coupon was for one free serving of meat, so we ordered 2 servings and got 1 for free :) The meat was incredibly delicious!
★ 1 Bowl of Rice + Free Soy Bean Paste Soup
- I always need rice with my Korean meals (unless it's a noodle dish), so I ordered a bowl of rice. With the rice came a free soup :)
★ Complementary Sides!
- Kimchi
- Mushrooms
- Potato
- Tofu
- Onions
- Lettuce, Peppers, and Sesame Seed Leaves
- Garlic
- Bean Sprouts
- Scallions
- Cold Radish Soup
- Dipping Sauces
- Sauteed Vegetables
We decided to grill the kimchi, mushrooms, onions, potato, and garlic along with the meat. Wrapping everything together in the lettuce is just perfection!

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at this restaurant and will definitely go back :) Loved the atmosphere, the service, and most importantly the FOOD! Their variety of side dishes is really nice and I love how they have good deals for their customers!
Tell Me: Have you ever had Korean BBQ before? If so, how did you like it? If not, would you like to try it sometime? Leave the answers to these questions in a comment below! ^^

Hey Luuux!
It's finally the weekend! I've been wanting to see what universities are like here in Korea, so my boyfriend decided to take me to visit his school today :) The weather was absolutely gorgeous today, so it was the perfect day to go! His
university's atmosphere is much different than most universities I've been to in the US, but I really enjoyed it :D They have a lot of resting areas for people to just sit at and enjoy the outdoors~ I believe Korean people put a lot more effort into maintaining and decorating their campuses with trees, flowers, and plants :) It's so pretty! Definitely a lot smaller, but it feels more tight-knit and home-y ^^ Anyway, the point of this post is my OOTD! The reason I talked about the university is because the pictures of my outfit below were taken on a little trail there :) Keep reading if you'd like to see details on what I'm wearing!

Hey again, Luuux :)
I'm back with another little beauty haul! Peripera had some nice deals on GMarket, so I had to make a purchase :D Shipping is always pretty fast and the prices are pretty competitive! Keep reading to see what I
got!
____________________________________________________________________
★ Peripera My Color Lips Lipstick (2 for $9.16)
This was such an amazing deal for these lipsticks! Originally, they're about $15 each, so I saved about $20! I wanted to get 2 brighter and bolder colors for the upcoming warmer Spring days, so I chose to purchase #4 Holy Pink and #27 Holy Coral. They're definitely super bright! I haven't worn them out yet because it's still a bit chilly here, but when that Spring sun comes out, I'll definitely pull them out :) The packaging is of course gorgeous and the formula is creamy and super pigmented! Highly recommend these ^^
★ Peripera Rose Nail Polish (4 for $7.31)
These are a great deal even without the discount, but they had a sale of $4 off, so definitely had to pick some up! Like I said in my previous post, I couldn't bring any of my nail polishes to Korea, so I have to start up my collection again~ No better way to start it than with Peripera polishes :D The colors I chose were: CR956 Nail Strengthener, BR202 Modern Beige, YE904 Banana Candy, & OR407 Tomato Candy. These are great quality polishes! Great formulation, opacity, and finish!
____________________________________________________________________
I hope you enjoyed this haul! I'm so happy I can get my hands on these Korean cosmetics without hassle now :) Although I miss US drugstores and Sephora, I really enjoy shopping for beauty products in Korea :D It's an entirely different experience!
Tell Me: Have you ever tried any Peripera products? If so, what have you tried and what do you think of them? If not, would you like to try any of these products I purchased? Leave the answers to these questions down below :D

Hey Luuux!
I finally got my first paycheck and decided to spend some of it on clothes at none other than GMarket! Definitely excited about not having to pay crazy international shipping costs now! I bought a bunch of different fashion pieces that

That's it for this haul! I'm loving everything I've worn so far! Hopefully the weather will warm up more so I can start wearing the more Spring appropriate clothes :D Wish I had more time for OOTDs, but unfortunately I don't have a good mirror or anyone to take a picture of my outfits during the week :T Maybe I'll start doing OOTDs on the weekends though!

Hey again, Luuux! ^^
The other day, I went to the Korean equivalent of Walmart, HomePlus, to pick up some nail polish remover~ HomePlus is such an amazing place :D I love how they have tons of mini makeup brand shops inside! This time, I picked
up a few things from Etude House & Missha :) Keep reading if you're interested in what I bought!
____________________________________________________________________
Etude House
★ Nail Polish Remover in #2 Extra Power (~$3)
I couldn't bring any of my nail-related cosmetics, so I definitely needed to pick up a nail polish remover~ This is probably the best polish remover I've ever tried in my life! One swipe of this and my nail polish is completely gone! It does smell pretty strong, but considering how fast it removes my polish, I can live with it :) The bottle is empty in the picture because I poured it into the next thing I bought...
★ Nail Polish Remover Bottle (~$2)
My favorite polish remover at home was the Zoya one, but since I couldn't bring it, I really wanted to find a bottle that was similar. I heard Etude House had a similar one, so hunted it down. I actually think it works a lot better than my Zoya one (the pump is more effective).
★ Cotton Sheets (Free Samples!)
The lady at the register gave me 2 boxes of these cotton pads ^^ They're really soft and work great with the polish remover!
Missha
★ Super Aqua Aroma Deep Sea Water Micro Mist in Bergamot (~$5)
It's just now warming up in Korea, but my skin has been pretty dry for the past few months~ I wanted to buy a nice moisturizing facial mist, and decided on this one! The bottle is designed really nicely~ The spray is super fine, so the name 'Micro Mist' definitely fits the product! Smells great and moisturizes the face really well! Leaves the skin feeling smooth and hydrated! I got it while it was on sale too, which is always a plus ^^
★ 4 Cleansing Tissue Packs (Free Samples)
The lady at the counter was generous enough to give me not just one, but 4 sample packs of these cleansing tissues! They'll come in handy when I travel :D Love Korean people and their samples!

That's it for this haul! It wasn't too exciting or anything, but definitely some essentials :) I'm happy with everything I purchased! Hope it wasn't too boring of a haul! I'll have more coming soon ^^

Hey Luuux!
I'm back with another food post :D This time, it's about one of my favorite places to eat in Korea here so far! I've never eaten Shabu Shabu before, but I've always heard it was really good~ The restaurant my boyfriend and I went to last
night is called 'Shabu Hyang', and it's pretty amazing! Feels really fresh and healthy and everything tastes delicious :) Keep reading to see what we ordered and ate!
______________________________________________________________________
★ Vietnamese Spring Roll Pork Belly Strips
- This restaurant has a few different options, but what most people get is the Shabu Shabu. You have different choices of meat, but this time my boyfriend and I chose to eat Pork Belly Strips (삼겹살). It's really nice because you get to have the 'Korean BBQ' grill to cook the meat, while enjoying Shabu Shabu with tons of fresh vegetables, then on top of that you get the rice paper rolls to make your own spring rolls with all of the ingredients! The sauces that they give you are really good, and everything together is just the perfect combination of delicious greatness!
- They give you a big plate of vegetables to cook in the broth: cabbage, bean sprouts, carrots, cucumbers, onions, sprouts, red/green peppers, mushrooms, squash, and more. They also give you pineapples, which is so good in the spring rolls!
- A side salad, kimchi, and a garlic/onion side dish are also provided.
★ Pho
- When you're finished cooking all of your vegetables in the broth, there is another bowl filled with noodles, bean sprouts, and cilantro that you put in the leftover broth to make a Korean-style Pho. It's actually really good!
★ Rice Porridge
- After you're done with the Pho, there's another bowl that is provided that's filled with rice and vegetables that you use to make Korean Rice Porridge (죽). This part isn't my favorite, but that might just be because I'm so full by this time that I can't eat any more :P
______________________________________________________________________
Overall, this place is just a wonderful restaurant to go to! The atmosphere is great, the ingredients are fresh, and it's not too expensive. For one person, it'll end up only costing about $12-13. I think that's a pretty great deal considering how much you get! Keep in mind that there's no tip in Korea either! I absolutely love going here to eat Shabu Shabu! Wish everyone could try it sometime :)
Tell Me: Have you ever tried Shabu Shabu? If so, did you enjoy it? If not, would you be interested in trying it?? Leave the answers to these questions in a comment below! ^^

Hey Luuux!
Last weekend my boyfriend and I finally got to do a little bit of shopping :D I wanted to go somewhere nearby so it wouldn't be too much of a hassle, but most of the places near where I live don't have everything I wanted to look at
:T Either way, it was fine~ I picked up some things I thought were super cute and also some that I needed. My mom also sent me a package of the things I ordered from Michael Todd as well. I've been wanting to try their skincare line for the longest time after everyone on Youtube had been raving about it! Keep reading if you're interested in all of the things I got :)

That's all I got this time! I didn't get too much, but I'm super happy with the lipstick that I got :D Isn't it adorable?! It reminds me of the Paul & Joe lipsticks in the shape of cats, but these are way cuter in my opinion ^^ I made a GMarket haul recently, so I'll definitely post something about the things I got from that order soon! Hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks for reading

Hey again, Luuux!
Last weekend, my boyfriend took me shopping, so I picked up a few things (which I will show in a future haul post), but we went to a really nice Korean-Japanese fusion restaurant while we were there :) The restaurant was called
Millefeuille, which is actually the name of a French pastry, but the interior was reminiscent of a Japanese house :P Keep reading to see what my boyfriend and I ordered!
______________________________________________________________________
Cheese Fried Pork Cutlet aka Cheese Don-Kkass (치즈돈까스)
This is what I ordered! It's a fried pork cutlet with mozzarella cheese on the inside :D It was so delicious! Very crispy on the outside, and then the cheese really balances it out when you bite into it :)
Regular Fried Pork Cutlet
This is what my boyfriend got. It's basically the same thing I got, but without the cheese :)
Side Dishes
The meal came with rice, a small bowl of miso soup, two dipping sauces, a bowl of cabbage salad, an olive oil dressing for the cabbage salad, spicy pickled radish, some garlic, peppers, and also some sweet pickled radish.
______________________________________________________________________
Everything was presented so nicely! I loved how the rice came in a little plastic container that you could scoop yourself. They also had the most adorable scooper for the dipping sauce ^^ You just had to be there to see the atmosphere!
Tell Me: Have you ever tried fried pork cutlet (don-kkass) like this? If so, did you enjoy it? If not, would you be interested in trying it?? Leave the answers to these questions in a comment below! ^^
