Topshop’s Unique collection has always been well unique. These wedges are no exception! Remember the other time how I died over their harness, so I guess now I’m dying again over this pair of wedges. The nautical inspired ropes used (never imagined them to look good on shoes) are amazing and they look great matched with the Lucite wedge. Definitely a pair for Winter as well! (Maybe only in
the warmer countries, you most definitely do not want your toes to freeze!)

You lucky New Yorkers! Do not, I repeat Do not miss this rare opportunity to witness the archives of Balenciaga. From what I gathered, Balenciaga is such a tight, security conscious brand that Creative Director, Nicholas Ghesquière keeps all of the archives in his atelier and even he has to make an appointment to gain entry!
This is probably one of the most exciting times in fashion
exhibition history (if that is even a term)! You would be so close to touching over 60 archived Balenciaga accessories and clothing! The best part is the exhibition runs for 3 whole months so there is plenty of time for all the folks living nearby to travel to New York for a weekend and visit this incredible exhibition! Just imagine all the works by Cristóbal Balenciaga himself, master couturier!
If I ever the get the chance, I’m gonna fly to New York this coming December!
Duration of Exhibition: Friday, 19th November 2010 - Saturday, 19th February 2011
Place: Queen Sofia Spanish Institute, New York City
Exhibition curated by: Hamish Bowles (Vogue’s European Edition at Large)

Ermenegildo Zegna is synonymous with effortless classic style. Oriol Elcacho once again fronts the campaign for their Fall Winter 2010 collection looking absolutely remarkable. I love menswear campaigns that exude such strong and subtle thoughts through photography and styling.

For Colcci’s Spring 2011 campaign, Gisele Bundchen is shot in a colourful array of apparels against a rainbow like background. Photographed by Gui Paganini, the Brazilian model appears all wet and sleek in this rather sexy campaign.

Jeremy May from Littlefly is a genius and has created jewellery with one of the simplest and most fragile of materials - Paper. Paper is first chosen and carefully removed from a book, afterwhich these hundreds of sheets of paper are laminated together and it is then finished to a high gloss. The jewellery is later re-inserted into the excavated space.
There is no one identical piece of
jewellery since it is practically impossible to replicate and would thus be unique to the wearer. This is amazing news since we are always looking for ways to be unique and not blend in with everyone else. Time to carry a piece of your favourite book on your fingers.

Its time to be a ninja this coming Fall! These boots really reminds me of a Youtube comedy person, Nigahiga since he is known for his ninja videos. I’m sorry I digress. Anyway, the pressed metal armour on the front of the boots gives it an edge but the subdued grey-ish colour of it makes it wearable for all.
At the very least your feet would be protected if anyone decides to step on them
during NYC Fashion Night Out. That way you can continue to wear great shoes all year round!

Our all time favourite shoe designer, Brian Atwood has decided to launch a brand new line appealing to a larger audience who otherwise are unable to afford his shoes. Jones Apparel Group Inc has signed a licensing deal with Brian Atwood to manufacture, market and distribute a contemporary brand called B Brian Atwood.
The line will debut in Fall 2011 with shoes priced from $200 to
$500.
Which is not bad at all!

Now this is highly disturbing. Someone over at Vogue Russia ran out of ideas and simply decided to use pigs to showcase jewelery. Granted the idea is new and out of the box, but who wants to know whether the accessory looks good on animals? I’m sure people want to know that the accessory looks good on people only.
I really wonder if there is any thought that went into this shoot, and if
there is a message being sent I really didn’t get it.
Did you?

I’m sure many of you are attracted to the white fur on the entire boot, but what stole my heart was the wooden like heel. Its small but it is so iconic and noticeable at the same time. Yes for sure, I love the fur and this would be great for Fall especially with black leggings and a white coat.
However, the fur is a little overwhelming kinda as though a polar bear was skinned and the fur was
glued on to the boots. I don’t know, hope I didn’t scare you away from these boots!
Polish model Jarek Pietka stars in Guy Laroche’s newest Fall 2010 campaign. Despite the campaign being a simple studio shot campaign, the Jarek manages to bring a very refined and modest look to the campaign. Looking at his killer jawline simply brightens up the mood of the campaign.
