A few days ago I went to Forever 21 and picked up a few tops as well as a pair of jeans for school. Here are the items:
• Ditsy Dits & Bows Blouse ($21.80)
- I feel in love with this 3/4 length pale pink blouse as soon as I saw it! The adorable bow and dot print caught my attention! The top has a drawstring along the hemline which can be tightened to make the top more fitted. I also love
the Peter Pan collar!
• Hummingbird Kimono Cardigan ($27.80)
- This summer, I've been loving tops with different prints on them. I'm usually one to get tops with floral print. This 3/4 sleeve cardigan has kimono style sleeves. I thought that the cardigan would look weird because of the boxy sleeves. But the sleeves hang very nicely! What I love about this cardigan is the hummingbird print and that it's made of chiffon.
• Dropped Shoulder Top ($16.80)
- I love the electric blue colour of this top. This top also came in green but I decided to get the blue one since I don't a colour like this in my wardrobe. This knit top is very soft and comfortable.
• Fab Mock Pocket Jegging ($17.50)
- These jeggings have mock front packets and actual pockets in the back. I wore these jeggings today, they fit very well!

Pharma Plus recently had a buy one get one free sale on the Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear nail polishes. I had to take advantage of this sale! The Xtreme Wear nail polishes are originally priced $3.49. I picked up four nail polishes, mainly ones that would be great for the fall. So, overall I saved $6.98 on these nail polishes. These are the colours that I picked up:
• Lacey Lilac is a lilac
coloured polish. I currently have this on my nails! It looks very similar to Essie's St. Lucia Lilac.
• Time to Shine is a bronze coloured polish with subtle silver shimmer. I fell in love with this polish after seeing many posts about it.
• Grey Area is a dark grey polish with a hints of brown/purple. I love grey/brown nail polishes, so I had to get this polish!
• Flirt is a deep red-purple polish with subtle red shimmer. This colour reminds me of cherries.

For dinner my friends and I went to Moxies. We wanted to have one last relaxing evening together before we get back to the stress of school.
I ordered a pasta dish called the Penne Toscana which cost $16.00. This pasta dish contained Italian sausage, bacon and mushrooms in a creamy tomatoe, pesto and white wine reduction. It also came with two pieces of garlic bread. The pasta was very
delicious and flavourful. I was able to finish the entire dish!
For my drink, I ordered a Raspberry Kiwi Splash magarita which cost $5.99. It was a very humid day, so this drink was very refreshing. I like how the drink had a mix of green and red slush as well as kiwi seeds mixed in!
After finishing the pasta, bread and drink, I was completely full. I had no room for dessert!

Since fall is approaching, I've decided to start wearing dark coloured nail polishes. For this weeks look, I used 2 coats of NAR's Galion as my base and 1 coat of Nail Inc's Sloane Square on my thumb and ring finger.
I used Sloane Square as the accent colour since the polish is dark colored and would complement the navy-grey colour of Galion.
Galion is a navy-grey shade and Sloane Square
is a pewter colored micro glitter polish with holographic circles. After drying, Galion didn't have very shiny finish so I put on clear coat of nail polish to add more shine. Galion looks either navy-grey or black depending on the lighting. In natural light, the polish looks black (picture 2). With flash, you can see the actual colour (picture 1).

For dinner my boyfriend and I went out to a Irish-style pub. I ordered the Chicken Curry & Chips. This dish contained pieces of chicken in yellow curry with sautéed red onions along with a side of French fries. With this dish, you can choose to have the chicken curry served with fries or rice. I've never had chicken curry and fries before, I thought the combination tasted delicious together!
My boyfriend and I had room for dessert so we ordered the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie with Reese's Peanut Butter Cup to share. We decided to order this since it's the dessert that's ordered the most at the pub.
This pie was made of a layer of dark chocolate and peanut butter mousse full of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. The pie was drizzled in caramel and chocolate along with 2 sides of whip cream. This slice of pie is one of the most delicious things that I've ever tasted! I loved the different layers of the cake. It's something I would order again!

A few days I went to Forever 21 hoping to get some jewelry, but unfortunately nothing caught my attention, so I ended up purchasing a few tops. Here are the items that I picked up:
• Lace yoke top ($16.50)
- I'm a big fan of tops that are shorter in the front and longer in the back. This 3/4 length dusty pink top has lace running along the top of the back and along the sleeves.
• Mum
garden top ($21.80)
- I love anything with a floral print, so as soon as I saw this top I had to get it! The top has buttons running along the front and pleating around the shoulders. I like the kimono style and the flowyness of the top.
• Speckled knit top ($18.80)
- Since fall is coming up, I got this pink sweater. I like this sweater since it's a lightweight piece that can be worn during the summer as well as the fall when the temperatures get cooler. I like that the sweater is made of pink, white and black thread.

For dinner, my boyfriend and I went to a pizzaria and bar. I was going to get either a pizza or pasta. I settled for the pasta since I thought the pizza would be too heavy. I ordered the Penne Primavera which cost $16. This dish included market vegetables (zucchini, peppers), fresh basil and mozzarella. My boyfriend got the Rigatoni Siciliana (not pictured).
The pasta came topped with a
circular slice of mozzarella which I ate first before the pasta. The pasta tasted delicious with the basil and vegetables. The dish wasn't overly filling. I was able to finish the whole dish (usually with pasta dishes, I could only finish about 3/4 of it).
My boyfriend and I had room for dessert. After looking at the dessert menu, we decided to get tiramisu. I didn't get a picture of it. When it arrived at the table we both devoured it quickly! It came in a small bowl and was so delicious.

I haven't been to H&M for awhile, so I decided to stop by there the other day to pick up a few basic pieces as well as look at their new fall collection. These are the items that I picked up:
• Nude tank ($6.95)
- Tanks like this are a staple in my wardrobe!
• Black tank dress ($14.95)
- I have many dresses that are short or semi-see through. I wanted a tank dress that I can wear
underneath them. The material is slightly thicker than that of a regular tank, so it can be worn by itself. The tank dress is not very short, it comes mid-thigh.
• Animal print button up ($19.95)
- As soon as I saw this top I had to get. I thought that the wolf, deer and caribou print was adorable! I really like how the top is shorter in the front and long in the back.
• Navy blue skirt ($12.95)
- I have similar skirts like this from American Apparel which retail for $30+. When I saw the price of this skirt, I had to get it! I also wanted to get it because I like the navy colour.
• Black suede bracelet ($5.95)
- I love wearing simple bracelets with my outfits. I love the simplicity and mix of gold and black in this bracelet. This bracelet came in other colours too - white, pink, turquoise and brown. I got the black one since it would compliment any outfit.

On Thursday August 11,2011 my best friend and I attended the Britney Spears 'Femme Fatale Tour' in Montreal. This is the third Britney Spears concert that I've been too!
The opening acts for Britney Spears were DJ Pauly D and Nicki Minag. The doors to the venue opened at 7pm. My friend and I left the house around 6:45pm. Traffic was really bad heading to the venue, so we got there around 1
hour later and missed Pauly D's set. Around 8pm, it was time for Nicki's set. She performed for around 45 minutes. I think that she did an amazing job! After her performance there was a 40 minute wait till Britney took the stage.
My best friend and I got floor seats. From where we we seated we had the perfect view of the stage. When Britney took the stage after the opening interlude, the crowd went crazy. She performed songs from each of her 7 albums. She began with Hold It Against Me and ended with Till the World Ends. The concert ended around 10:45pm.
I had an AMAZING time at the concert, I loved singing and dancing along to the songs. After the concert, my voice was raspy and my ears were ringing. This concert was worth the $150 I paid for the ticket!
I've included some screenshots from the videos I took. It hard capturing Britney on the camera since the spot light was always on her.
