I got these beautiful diamond jewelry pieces from my wonderful boyfriend! They're from Christmas, but I just haven't gotten around to taking pictures or posting them, lol. Can you say best Christmas ever? :) I was so surprised! And they're absolutely gorgeous!
My boyfriend got me beautiful diamond earrings as the main piece and a diamond bracelet to match. I couldn't get over them when I
opened them! I fell in love with them! :) I wear the earrings quite often since they're diamonds and go with just about anything. The bracelet is something I tend to wear if I'm going out - it sparkles so nicely!
At first, I was afraid to bring these pieces to college incase they might get lost or (let's forbid) stolen. I originally only brought out the earrings to my apartment at school because I wear earrings all the time and figured that I'd have less a chance of them going missing if I wear them all the time. Then, I realized that I wanted to bring out the bracelet too so I could wear it. After all, having it sit at home is pretty pointless. So last time I went home I brought it back to school with me. Now, I wear both pieces whenever I can! I go to great lengths to make sure they don't go missing or get lost, though. They both sit in their boxes on my dresser so I know where they are at all times, lol.
I'm so grateful and thankful to my boyfriend for getting such wonderful pieces! He said he was nervous because he had never really picked out jewelry before, lol, but he did an awesome job! After all, diamonds are a girl's best friend! ;D

For Valentine's Day, my wonderful boyfriend got me these beautiful roses! I love that they're a gorgeous pink color. They're so pretty and delicate. And since I've gotten them, they've opened up so nicely! :)
I'm not normally a fan of roses because they tend to die rather quickly compared to other flowers, but on Valentine's Day they're my flower of choice! These ones started out pretty
average-sized but once they opened they became huge! I love looking at them :) and they smell so good!
The pink color matches my room really nicely! My theme is mostly black and white, but I have a couple pink accent piece and, with these on my desk next to my pink desk lamp, they look perfect! And they really add some nice life and color to everything. I usually always have fresh flowers in my room because I love what they do to liven it up! :)

I went to the mall the other day and stopped in to Victoria's Secret just to look round. I had no intention of buying anything when I walked in, but I ended up seeing a couple things that caught my attention so I tried them on. I fell in love with both pieces right away! :D
The two pieces are nighttime/lingerie pieces and they're fabulous! One is a two-piece set - it has the sheer
black top and matching panties. It has pink rhinestones and a couple pink bows on the chest. My first thoughts when I tried them on? Sexy! lol (yeah, this post is going there, lol). I was surprised to find that the two-piece set was only $38! I've bought similar two-piece sets before and they're usually $68, so I was really excited about this one!
The second piece I bought is more of a nighttime/sleep piece. It's black satin with white lace trip on the top, bottom, and down both sides. I was surprised how much I loved it when I tried it on! It looks great! This one was a bit more expensive at $48, but I still think it's a great price for Victoria's Secret!
So there I was... standing in the fitting room at Victoria's Secret, realizing that I happened to love both things that I tried on, lol. Together, the two came to $80 and I was going back and forth on if I should buy both, or just one, or none (we all know that last option wasn't really an option, lol). Then, I remembered that I received a $20 giftcard/coupon in the mail when I was upgraded to a VIP Angel Card. Problem solved! With the card, I only had to pay $60 for both pieces so I was much happier, lol. I even received a Secret Reward Card because I used my Angel Card (I was a bit obsessed with the Secret Reward Cards last time they did them before Christmas). Definitely a successful shopping trip!! :D

I've really been in the mood for some cannoli lately, so I went to my grocery store and got some from the bakery department. They were sooo delicious!! When I was younger I never used to like cannoli, but now I'm in love, lol! :)
Cannoli are basically little fried pastry shells filled with a (usually) ricotta-based filling that often tastes more sugary and sweet than anything, lol. My
grocery store had ones with chocolate chips on the ends of the filling, but I went for the ones without them - although next time I might get the chocolate chip ones!
Cannoli are a perfect little dessert and definitely satisfy those sweet cravings! Just writing this post is putting me in the mood for some more, lol. They're a traditionally Italian food (Sicilian, more precisely) but you certainly don't have to be Italian to enjoy them, lol! I highly recommend trying some if you never have - they're just so good! :D

I found a coupon online from Bath and Body Works the other day for a FREE signature collection travel-size item! Normally with their coupons you have to make a purchase to get the free item, but this was a no purchase necessary coupon so I was pretty excited! :) I went to the mall to claim my freebie!
I ended up getting a travel-size Japanese Cherry Blossom shower gel. I have way too many
mini lotions that I'm currently trying to use up, and I have quite a lot of the mini body sprays, too. So I went with a mini shower gel! :) I always bring them with me when I go on short vacations or if I'm traveling and I was actually running out of my travel-size shower gels so this was perfect!
Japanese Cherry Blossom is one of my absolute favorite scents from Bath and Body Works. I've gone through countless full-size versions of shower gels and body sprays and candles because I love it! I'm very glad I was able to get a freebie like this of it! :D
The coupon for the free travel-size item is good until the 20th. Click HERE for the link if you want to print it out for yourself and use it!

I got this huge solid chocolate Hershey Kiss from my Mom for Valentine's Day! It's kind of tradition that I get one every year and I always look forward to it because it's awesome! The whole thing is solid milk chocolate and it's absolutely delicious!!
I consider myself quite the chocolate lover but I could never ever eat this all at once, lol. There's just so much! It's definitely one of
those things you could get sick off from eating too much of it, lol. Once you take one bite, it's hard resist the rest! I had to tell myself to keep putting it down so I wouldn't eat it all at once, lol. It tastes just like the normal Hershey Kisses (which I sometimes feel I could eat a million of, lol) except it's on a larger scale! This one was wrapped in pink foil which I thought very appropriate for the holiday :)
I think a giant Hershey Kiss like this is an awesome Valentine's Day gift! It's more unique than a traditional box of chocolates, but it's still something sweet and edible, lol. I love normal Hershey Kisses, so having a giant one is just awesome!! :D

Chocolate-covered strawberries are, admittedly, a weakness of mine. They're just so good! I rarely have them, though, so whenever I do have one it's special :) This weekend, my boyfriend and I celebrated Valentine's Day together and he got me an amazing chocolate-covered strawberry! He's so sweet! :)
This strawberry was a bit bigger than a typical strawberry, which made it all the better!
It was sweet, juicy, and absolutely delicious. And the chocolate it was covered in was so smooth and yummy! What was really nice about it was that, even though the chocolate was a bit thick, it didn't all break off once I bit into it. Even my last bite of the strawberry still had some chocolate on it which was nice :)
I totally wish I had another one of these right now because it was so good! I've made them myself before, but nothing beats getting one from your sweetheart for Valentine's Day. It's sweet in more way than one!

My grandfather collected coins most of his life and it's really interesting to go through all of them now and see wehere they're all from and how old they are. My Dad currently has most of the collection and, about a month or so ago, when we were sitting around and I was telling him about my interest in practically anything WWII (I love WWII-themed films, books, and whatnot. The history of it
all is fascinating to me), he went and got this coin from the collection and gave it to me! I couldn't believe it! It's a German coin from 1938 when the Nazi party was in power. Talk about history!
I'm not sure how my grandfather came to acquire this one, but this coin is really neat. The face of it features the Nazi swastika and iron eagle and the year, 1938, and the tail side indicates the currency amount. It's 10 Reichspfennig - I'm not sure what that would technically translate into today, but it's still interesting, especially considering the name of the currency and the power of the 3rd Reich at the time.
I'm such a nerd for WWII history and all (particularly the European theatre), so this coin really fascinates me. I love the history behind it and the fact that it was once my grandfather's in his collection and now it belongs to me! Definitely a cool thing in that regard. I'm super interested in seeing what else is in that coin collection now, lol!

I finished my third EOS lipbalm today!! It's the yellow Lemon Drop one and it took me quite awhile to use up, but I loved it! :)
This Lemon Drop EOS lipbalm was one of the first ones I ever got and it's taken me quite some time to use it al just because I was switching back and forth between a number of them for awhile (I finished the honeydew and summerfruit ones before this one). But I
finally decided to just focus on using one until it was gone. I brought this one on vacation with me over Christmas since it has SPF 15 in it and it did wonders for my lips!
The texture of this EOS lipbalm is the most unique of all the other ones, probably because of the SPF in it. It's less "solid" than the other ones and more creamy, almost - it glides on better. And, like most of the EOS lipbalms, I would apply it at night before going to bed and I could still feel it on my lips the next morning! It's great! The lemon scent is pretty nice too, so that's a plus! Just make sure you don't apply it right before eating... it can change the flavor of your food, lol.
I will definitely be repurchasing this! It's perfect for bringing on vacation because of the SPF 15 in it and it does wonders as a lipbalm in general. I definitely recommend it! :)

The other day I went to Victoria's Secret to redeem a freebie coupon I had. It was good toward a new Valentine's Day lacie thong which I was very excited about because the lacies are my favorite! :)
When I first went to claim my free pair, they were all sold out. So I was happy they were back in stock when I revisited the store. Normally when they have a promotion for a free panty, it's
usually a boyshort or cotton panty, so for it to be a lacie thong is awesome! They offered it in red, black, and pink and, since I already own a number of black ones and I just purchased some pink ones, I decided to go with the red ones :) Plus, the red ones are perfect for Valentine's Day! The panty itself has a lovely lace pattern with hearts in it - so cute!
I got the coupon for this free pair in the mail along with a $10 off a bra coupon and one for free chocolates with a $75 purchase. I don't think I'll be using those other coupons, but I was very happy to take advantage of the free panty!
