For me its all about nails for summer, i love all the bright beautiful colours i can wear and also the cute and wild designs that have come out this summer. Dont get me wrong i love wearing make-up but for summer i keep make-up bare, i dont wear i lot, so thats why i love playing up my nails. Am going to share with you some of my tips and tricks for nails and also, products i use, were i get them
from, what hand/foot treatments i use, so lets get started.
First before you apply your colour or create your design you need to have prepare your nails, you dont have to go to the salon you can do this all at home, just follow these steps:
Remove any old nail polish ( i love the sally hassen one)
File your nails in one direction only, dont use the seesaw motion because this can damage your nails
Soak your hands in warm water for 10 or 15 minutes
After you have dryed you hands, Push back cuticles with some cuticles pushes or an orange stick
Cut at excess cuticle off, but DONT cut a lot of just a little bit
After thats apply and cuticle/hand cream or oil and massage that in. ( i like you use almond oil)
OK so now that we have are nails prepared, its on to choosing your colour or creating your design. Before doing any of this you must use a base coat, here are of some my favourite polishes and what i like use when creating my nail design:
Base coat:

Glittler - Craft store
Nail tranfers/stickers/templates- i love the sally hansen ones, they are the same has the OPI ones but cheaper, i get then from sallys
So there are all the prodcuts and tools i use to create gorgeous nails with. Now on to treatments, i like to do this once or twice a week.
Hands/feet:
To exfoliate, i use brown sugar and olive oil, rub them all over me hands, then wash of.
I also i like use a paffin wax treatment, all you do is heat the wax up, let it cool, apply to your hand and it will harden like a glove around your hands, its pretty cool watching it form into your hands :) (you can do the same to your feet)
Also at night apply a thick hand cream, i like to use coconut cream, on your hands and pop some gloves on, and in the morning your hands will be soooo soft.
You can all buy hand and foot treaments, i love the ones by Montagne Jeunesse
You also need a good pumice foot stone, i just get one the my local drug store
And that is pretty much what i do :)

I use the Birthday Suit in this eyeshadow. It's a great day colour as it looks natural but gives you that fresh eyed look.
Nice consistency and you don't need much at all. Apply with a brush to get an even coverage. Once it dries it's there for the day.
I put Lemon Aid on underneath, which makes it look and stay better.

Great range of colours that really work well both day and night. you can really see a difference in the colour & pigment when using a wet brush. the emerald colour is my fave, its gorgeous. they last for ages too, so they are worth the money! wouldn't put my faith in the mirror though, its tiny! small brush is included too, but for darker colours i tend to use a more precise applicator.

I only bought this product a few days ago, and so far it has been amazing! It's affordable, it stays on all day, it's really easy to apply and it doesn't turn blue like liquid liners. Also I only have to use a small amount to line both eyes, so the small pot should last a while! The only thing I didn't like was the brush as it fell apart when i took the plastic cover off, but it didn't matter to
me as I have a good eyeliner brush to use with it. I will definitely be buying this product again!

This product is a real investment and I was so impressed when I first tried it. It is now a staple part of my makeup bag and I can't survive without it. If I had to find fault it would be that it takes a few more seconds than your average mascara to dry, with that in mind it is still an outstanding product!!

I was excited about purchasing the new double ended eyeshadow from Max Factor as I like the look of smokey eyes so i brought the white/black one but it was terrible. It was too creamy a consistancy and so creased instantly, even after applying eyeshadow of a similar colour over the top it still creased. It is a disasterous product from Max F which is a shame as i like there mascaras etc.

After seeing a friend wearing this nail polish i brought it for myself and was not disappointed. the effect is a really good ''cracked'' look, rather than the really straight black lines, as shown in the picture
this polish is really versatile and can be worn with any colour as a base coat. when using this polish, make sure you dont overlap brush strokes and only put on one layer. Personally, i
also apply a top coat of clear nail polish as it makes the black look alot shiner, as it is quite dull black by itself.

At first i was having problems with my lashes, getting annoyed that my lashes were always straight, and never having that lushes curl, but after using this mascara, in the first use i saw a dramatic difference, it curled my lashes, but not only that, but after 2weeks of usage my eyelashes became thicker (fuller) and longer, and the greatest thing, was that i was receiving compliments from all my
friends, they thought i was wearing extensions, which instantly made me feel good about myself, im so happy about finding this product i bought one for each of my daughters, and they are just as happy as i am, probably even more happier with their new mascara .... Strongly Recommend this product...ITS GREAT!

I've been using this mascara since it first came out and will do so for as long as it remains available. It's really easy to apply, goes on smoothly with no clumps and defines every lash with ease. Just one coat gives a fairly natural daytime look, or it's easily layered up for a more dramatic evening look. It doesn't clump, flake or smudge, lasts all day/night and comes off easily with a bit of
eye makeup remover. Perfect!

I have a combination type of skin, so my cheeks are quite dry and sensitive and T Zone tends to be getting oily during the day. I have never been using a primer before so I thought I might as well give it a go and see if there are any benefits! Before putting primer on, I use Neutrogena Visibly Clear moisturizer, and on top of all that I use Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 hr foundation. I have to say
it works pretty good, and my skin looks less oily and a bit fresher with the primer on. Its price is also very good, if you compare it to e.g. L'Oreal primer which costs around £14. And it does its job very well. I also find that I put less of my foundation on and it makes my skin look better. Definitely recommend ! :)
