snack of the day: crackers and tuna!

one of my favorite snacks to munch on is tuna with crackers! i add my tuna to mayonnaise and celery and then spread on my crackers and it's such a yummy and addicting snack! sometimes i will spread the tuna on to some buns or sandwiches. it makes a great lunch too. very easy and quick to make. very yummy to much on too lol and also it's a really cheap snack to make and buy. do you enjoy eating tuna with crackers, sandwiches, buns or whatever else?! :) ps dont mind my blurry photos =/ photo is my own

DOTN: home made spaghetti and meatballs!

tonight at our house, we had for dinner home made spaghetti and meatballs! with a mushroom and strawberry salad! it all didn;t take very long to make. probably less than an hour! first we made the spaghetti. we boiled the noodles as how their typically made lol. strain the noodles after its done boiling. for the meatballs, we used ground beef, placed them in a big bowl and mixed egg whites to it. added some salt and pepper to it with montreal steak sauce seasoning. then put on a pair of gloves to mix it all together to form little balls. then cook the balls with the tomato sauce for about 30-35 mins. we used the "ragu" brand of spaghetti sauce. then in the end we added sliced up mushrooms to the sauce and thats it! for the salad, we just washed all the greens, mushrooms and strawberries. then sliced up the mushrooms and strawberries and put all of these together by tossing them. i love mushrooms with anything! we added the strawberry to make the salad a bit more interesting to eat. i love home made meals. it takes time sometimes to make plus going grocery shopping for the food items but in the end it saves you a ton of money and it's somewhat healthier in my opinion. you can control how greasy or salty your food is. i prefer home cooked meals over take outs and fast foods any day! photos are my own

home made avocado smoothie!

my mom makes a lot of home made fruit smoothies in our house. today she made an avocado smoothie! yum one of my favorites. all she did was cut up the avocado, throw it in the blender. she blends it with crushed up ice, milk and lots of sugar! and that's all! very simple and very fast to make. and also it's a lot cheaper to make these at home then buying it already made at stores, restaurants etc. try making some home made fruit smoothies if you haven;t already! photos are my own

snack of the day: welch's fruit snacks

oh i am a big candy lover! like fruit snacks! their not just for kids only! lol. but one of my favorite fruit snacks to snack on are these welch's fruit snacks. i got these in a big box at costco. kinda like a bulk version i guess. these fruit snacks are natural and artificial falvoours and are gluten free! it comes in a variety of mixed fruit flavors like grape, strawberry, raspberry, peach and orange. these are addictive to munch on! have you tried these before? photos are my own
