I don't know about you, but I've been waiting for this announcement since a long time ago. I already was a great fan of the previous version of this phone, the Samsung Galaxy SII, but now, I must confess, that I'm still drooling with the first official photos and videos.
I was and I still am a great fan of Apple products, but Samsung really caught my attention with Galaxy SII and now, after
seeing the specs of the new SIII, I really have to say that I prefer it over iPhone.
As you can see on the photos above, at a first look you'll notice that it is much more similar to the Samsung Nexus than to the previous SII... It has a much larger AMOLED screen, with a 1280 x 720 resolution. It has a much cooler design than the precious SII, with 8.6mm thickness and 133grams of weight. I specially like the round edges, and the fact that it has lost that little bump on the back bottom. This new visual makes the phone look modern... It looks really futuristic in my opinion.
It also features:
-1.4GHz Exynos 4 Quad processor
-1GB of RAM
-8-megapixel rear camera
-1.9-megapixel front camera
-HSPA+, (with an LTE version coming soon)
-TouchWiz Interface
-Android 4.0 OS
As you can see, the back camera has the same power as the one on the SGsII but Samsung improved its software, so now it has face recognition and it even allows you to use this feature to really call and send text to the person on the photo. It also has lots of other exciting features that I'll be talking on another post.
Like I said, and as you may notice, I'm really excited about this phone and I really have to own one, so obviously, I really hope to find it on LUUUX store in a few days, since it will be coming out on Europe on May 29th and in other countries of the world on the beginnings of June.
What do you think about this phone? Cool or not? Do you prefer it over iPhone?

I'm not a frequent reader, I mean, I'm not one of those persons that is completely passionate for books and that kind of stuff... But sometimes I just feel curious with some books and I feel like I have to read them. That's what happened with this book.
I always heard great things about Dan Brown's books and after watching two movies that are based on his books (Da Vinci Code and Angels and
Demons), I knew that I had to read them. So I had the chance of reading this book, "Digital Fortress" and I must say that It is completely addicting. It is one of those books where the story turns in so many different directions that you just can't stop reading, just to know what will happen next.
Basically the books tells us about a secret US agency that has the mission of supervise the electronic mail of everybody around the world, even those mails with the most advanced security systems. But one day, a man creates a software that will change everything... Everybody will try to stop him, but will it be too late? You have to read it to know the answer!
It is a great book and I truly recommend it.
Are you a frequent book reader? Have you read any of Dan Brown's books? Which one is your favorite?

We all know the brand IKEA, it probably is one of the most well known brands all over the world...
First, IKEA was known because of their awesome pieces of furniture, that is cheap, resistant, easy to transport and to build yourself... Oh, and I forgot to mention that the furniture is really good looking, so you don't have to buy ugly furniture just to buy it on a low price.
Then, IKEA
started to sell other things like food and clothes... And now, the time was come for them to create and sell their first LED TV.
According to the source link, it will be available in some different sizes and colors, so you can choose between a wide range of different TV's with different aspects.
So, you can choose between 24", 36", 40" or 46" and colors that go from black to white, with different shades of white and black between them. Besides this, they will all feature LED backlit screen, WiFi and a lot of other software features, that will make it a real Smart TV (Opera Browser, as an example.).
Unfortunately, there is no information about a price or a releasing date yet, but it is expected to be officially announced soon.
So if you're a fan of IKEA products, this can really be your opportunity to buy a really cool TV for what I expect to be a great price.
What do you think about this? Are you an IKEA fan? What do you think of IKEA products? Will you consider on buying this TV?
I'm on LUUUX since 2010's October and there are some things that instead of improve quality of the site, decreased it...
First of all, if you visit the "Site Terms" or "Shop Terms" you'll notice that these sections contain rules that are completely outdated... And other rules are just not mentioned, a great part of the rules are not in there actually... So, I think that these pages really
need to be reviewed with updated information, not only because of the new members that actually care about rules and try to know more about the site before start trying to earn some points, but also because everybody has doubts sometimes, even the oldest members and everybody needs to check some rules on a moment or another...
Other thing that I don't like on the site is the "Coming Soon" part... I mean, English is not my native language... But I think that I don't need to be an expert to know that "coming soon" means that something is just about to happen, am I wrong? I don't think so...
If you visit the Luuux Shop you'll see that in some items, there is a final sentence where you can read "International Package coming soon", but the reality is that some of those items are already on the shop since December, 4 months ago, and until now, no international package...
The last thing is the LUUUX 2.0 version, that supposedly is also coming out soon since a long time ago... But until today, nothing happened. A faster site version, with different rules that supposedly awards the best posts and users and avoids spam... It is just a mirage that is also "Coming Soon"...
So I think that it was better if LUUUX responsibles avoid this kind of information that say that something is coming soon just to keep users with high expectations, when they probably know that those things are not really becoming to happen anytime soon.
Luuux is a great site, I really enjoy it. Everybody has the right to have an opinion and this is what I think that can be improved...
Items on the Luuux Shop have changed a lot on the past month, but you probably already know that... So a lot of new technology items and some new beauty products are available... But, the main change on the shop is the availability of those items. The most of them is only available for USA.
As an example, if I want to order a smartphone from Luuux shop, I can't do it. Why? Because I don't live
in the US.
The only phone that was available on the shop that could actually be shipped for European countries was the iPhone, but it has disappeared on the last days.
So, I don't understand why this is happening. The rules are the same for every user, it doesn't matter if he/she is American or European... But the prizes (on the most part of them), are only for American users. And why is that?
I, as an European user, don't have the same rights on this site as an American user?

I mean, don't misunderstand me, Luuux is a great site, I spend a big part of my days logged on, and I really like to be part of this community... But in my opinion there are some things that Luuux still needs to improve.
In my opinion, one of those things is to standardize the availability of the items on the shop...They should only put a new item when they have it available for everybody.
The other is to pass more information to the users... I mean, imagine that you wanted the iPhone but for some reason you were just waiting some time... From a moment to another, the iPhone was retired from the shop and you have nothing more to do... In my opinion, Luuux should warn us on which items will be removed from the shop some time before they are actually removed.
I hope that Luuux remains active for many years as I hope that it can improve with the help of all users.

There is a great difference between the kind of games that the most part of Europeans and North Americans appreciate... It is a well known fact that Europeans prefer soccer, while North Americans are divided between american football, basketball and baseball.
Honestly, I have never been a great fan of any of those north American games, but there is a new game that is still growing and that
caught my attention.
It is called Slamball and it basically is like a full contact basketball with trampolines... So are you imagine basketball being played with trampolines? It is really awesome sport and a really great show at the same time.
Like I said this is a relatively recent game that is still growing, but in my opinion it has everything to become a great sport since it has very simple rules with lots of emotion and spectacularity.
Basically, this game needs two teams with 4 players on each team, and a basketball field with trampolines on the basket areas, just like you can see on the second image. Then it works almost like basketball but with full contact and awesome slam dunks occurring all the time.
It is a great game and I've seen some games and let me tell you that I'm already a fan...
And you? Do you know this game? What do you think about it? Are you a fan?

This movie is from 2008 and I've watched a long time ago to be honest, but I decided to talk about it today, because it is an hilarious movie that I truly recommend.
It tells the story of two co-workers that are visiting a lot of schools as a publicity move... They do lectures on schools until the day when one of them has a bad day... One of those days where things just keep going worse and
worse. So he messed up and they were detained... They had two options, or they choose to stay 30 days in prison or they opt for doing some community work. They chose to do the community work and they were sent to some kind of association that helps kids by joining them with an adult that has the responsibility of being a role model...
Obviously, the most weird kids where chosen for them and they have a lot of work to start to understand them and treat them as they should... But will they end up on the right way, helping the kids by being correct role models? Just watch the movie to know...
Like I said, it is a great movie with lots of hilarious moments... I really liked it and I truly recommend it.
I give this movie an 8 out of 10.
Do you know this movie? What do you think about it? Funny or not?
My review. Image source link below
A toilet is something that we use everyday even without noticing that just like every single thing in this world, it came through an evolution, like everything, it has an history behind it... So, sometimes we underrate toilets (What a beautiful sentence. lol )
It looks like someone has actually thought about this... and if you have doubts that there is a museum in the world for every different
kind of things, you shouldn't, because there really are museums for everything... As an example, take this Museum of Toilets, in India.
So, this museum is located in New Delhi, in India and as you can see it is a very simple room, but it actually has a very rich content with a lot of different toilets that really helps visitors to understand the history behind every toilet that we use everyday.
So just like any other museum, this one also has a guide that will lead visitors through the exposition while explaining every piece. One of the most curious things is that they even have a replica of the toilet of the king Louis XIII, that was a French king that liked to do his king duties while doing other kind of duties at the same time xD
At first this may look just like a funny and maybe stupid museum, but if you think about it, it is a serious museum that actually can teach you lots of things, like that curiosity about the king.
So, I think that if I ever have the chance to visit it, I'll definitely do it.
And you? Would you like to visit this museum? Did you know that this museum exists?

UNO is one of the funniest card games that you can play with a group of friends or family... It needs not only luck but also a lot of skill and attention to succeed while playing it.
Now, the game just gained a reason to become even more famous and even more cool. Why? Because it now has a Family Guy version. So, basically it is all the same, but the cards have the characters of the show drawn
on them.
I'm a big fan of this game... I play it a lot with my family and I really like all the rush that I feel when I have only one card on my hand and I pray for the right card to come on my turn.. It is really cool xD
If you also like this game and you want to buy it, it can be yours for 10$, which basically is the first price that the game had when it first came out. It is a normal price I think.
What do you think of this? Do you like to play UNO? Do you like Family Guy show?
As you know, Samsung Galaxy Note is one of the most powerful smartphone that you can actually buy nowadays... It was built to be some kind of mix between a tablet and a regular smartphone and it has awesome features that we aren't used to see on a smartphone.
And as you also know, this phone came out in the market just a few weeks ago, so it wouldn't be expected that the white version would
come out so soon. Normally in this kind of situations, like it happened with iPhone 4 and Samsung Galaxy SII, the white version of the phone is always released a long time after the main version. But this time things were different and this White version of the Galaxy Note is already available in the UK, so probably it will be released on the rest of the world in few weeks from now.
I am a Samsung fan and I really think that this is one of the coolest smartphone ever... The white version has come out and now a lot of people will finally have the power to choose between the black or the white.
Honestly, I think that what matters is the things that the phone is capable of doing, not the color that it has on the outside. But there are a lot of people that actually gives a lot of importance to that.
Like I said, I have no problem with the white or black, so if any of you wants to offer me one of them, I'd really appreciate it xD
What do you think of this? Are you the kind of person that buys a phone based on its outside color? Do you prefer Apple or Samsung?
