Dear Friends and Fellow Luuux Members,
This is my letter number 2. Once upon a yesterday, on a very stormy night, I typed letter number 1 and right before I was about to finish, the power zapped my computer and I lost everything that I typed so I'm back to square one. Could this get any worst?
No, not even losing my unsaved letter isn't nearly as bad as what Luuux pulled on us yesterday. I
am upset and beyond dismayed that this change occurred. I've been an active member of Luuux for the past couple of years and the first time they did a price increase, I nearly died because I was so close to reaching my goal and it took me another year to get enough points to redeem it for the Canon T3i. I was fortunate enough to receive it right before the Luuux shop went down. Had I not gotten it before that, I think I would probably go hang myself. I'm sure there are many of you who weren't so lucky and I'm sorry you had to go through it. Please don't hang yourself.
With the new Luuux price inflation, there is no freaking way I can earn enough points within a reasonable amount of time to redeem for something I actually like. I'm better off buying my own shit, oops I mean my own crap. If you've been following me for a while, you can tell that I spend a considerable amount of time to produce quality pictures and original contents. The only way I'm going to earn points faster is if I spam the daylights out of Luuux, but I won't because I don't have time for that either. There's enough people doing that already and the price inflation is either going to make people quit or drive people to spam even more in order to get somewhere. Nonetheless, it's discouraging if you do the math and it will take you years before you save up enough points to get something decent, by then Luuux would probably slap you again with another price increase or worst, one day you try to get on and the webpage doesn't exist anymore. Yes, I wouldn't be surprised if that happened.
During my stay, I've come to know some wonderful people here and I really enjoyed how engaging and interacting people were, not to mention also very nice and supporting. I regret to say this but I decided that I will be leaving Luuux alone indefinitely. I'm not closing my account just yet but I am no longer motivated to blog here anymore. I love the Luuux community but I really hate how this site runs now. There is no integrity, no security, and no fairness. All our contributions are taken for granted and I feel that Luuux has cheated, scammed, and deceived each and everyone of us by leaving us in the dark and let us hang by a string of hope that perhaps one day, it will get better. Well until that one day comes, I will continue blogging and posting as usual on my blogs and other social network, just not here.
If you would like to stay in touch with me and my posts, please bookmark or follow me on either one of these places. Luuux is not the only networking site out there...just saying, lol.

I picked up this beautiful glitter polish from Sally's Clearance section and you may still be able to find it for less like I did. Winter Holly was part of China Glaze's 2012 holiday collection and to be honest, I've been itching to get it the day I saw it but I'm so glad that I waited because I was able to get this for cheaper :D.
I can't even find the word to describe how beautiful it is.
The glitters are small and pretty dense, the base is clear, and I don't remember if I did 2 or 3coats but I don't think I did more than 3 for sure.
The first two pictures are with a top coat and the last two is without top coat and personally even without the topcoat, I still really like the textured look it has. With a topcoat, the glitters look brighter and more multidimensional. This polish is awesome! I definitely would recommend if you don't have it yet.
What do you think? Do you like it with the topcoat or without?

The rest of yesterday's damage are beauty products and I prefer to put them on a different post so that it is not too cluttered.
From Sephora
* I got the Creme Apricot by Dior. This product feels pretty good on my cuticles and quite different from the cuticle oil and stuff I've tried before. A bit pricy but I think it may be worth it and there seem to be a lot of product in there. I
will do a review after a few uses. $25.50.
* Lancome Visionnaire deluxe sample, using 100 points
* Clinique High Impact Mascara deluxe sample, using 100 points also
* Sephora + Pantone Precious Metals Shadow Palette, $48.00. This is actually not for me. A gift for someone :).
From Ulta
* NYX products were BOGO 50% off and these new eyeliners look interesting. They are the Glam Liner Aqua Luxe (Waterproof). Waterproof liners are always up my alley cause they generally have a better staying power. I bought 4 of them and I'm really excited to give these a try.
* Prestige Total Intensity Against All Odds Liquid Ink in Around The Clock. I previously bought one of these in green and I'm back for more but geez there was hardly anything left on the shelf. I found this one on a totally different slot. Review will be coming soon.
* Layla Ceramic Effect EL21. I've yet to figure out what these are supposed to do or look like because it just looks like a shimmery polish to me but I liked this color. It's a cool-tone sheer gold shimmer.
* OPI Mariah Liquid Sand Mini set. I couldn't decide whether I should just get the full size or the mini but overall I think this is an interesting collection.
From Lush
* Yep, I haven't shopped at Lush in ages! I was in there just looking around and the SA introduced me to the Mask of Magnaminty and it seemed like a pretty good product so I wanted to give it a try. This tub is 11.1 oz and sells for 24.95. May seem pricy but you do get a lot of product, plus the packaging is eligible for the free mask if you return 5 empty containers to Lush for recycling. If you want to read more about this product, click HERE.
* Cupcake Fresh Mask was my daughter's pick, $6.95. I tried it last night and for me the scent was way too strong, it gave me headache, which is a problem I tend to have with most of Lush's fresh masks. To read more about this product, click HERE.
* I'm so excited to be able to try these new Lush makeup. I have one eyeliner (the orange one) and the rest are cream eyeshadows. They were BOGO free! One of these is sold for $18.95 so to get second one free is a deal I did not want to pass and there is also quite a generous amount of product in each of these vial. Shades from left to right: Dynamic, Sophisticated, Focus, and Intuitive. My first impression is that they are pretty pigmented and offer a good color payoff. They feel wet and thick when you first apply but they also seem to set quickly so I'm not sure if I might run into some trouble with blending. My favorite is Focus...OMG this is so pretty in person.
* I also got a free sample of Tea Tree Toner and Enzymion. Enzymion feels light and suppose to be great for people with oily skin because it absorbs quickly and is mattifying. This might be my next moisturizer to try once I'm done with my current one.
From Forever 21
* I bought these polishes. From left to right: Crystal/Light Aqua, Light Grey/Lavender, and Sage.
From Claire's
* Nail Ink. This is supposed to be tattoos for your nails. I'm curious to see how that works! The designs are gorgeous!
* Nail Flair Stickers. I've stopped using nail stickers for a while now but these feathers looked too cute to pass. Plus cosmetics at Claires are BOGO 50% off.
So this concludes the damages I've done this weekend. I'll pray that it gets better.

So yesterday, I can pretty much admit that I went on a shopping spree. I picked up a new purse at DSW, you can view it HERE if you didn't see the post.
My daughter wanted to go to Forever 21 so we did and she picked up two tops, which I didn't take pictures of. I only pictured the stuff that I got for myself.
I don't think I can ever get enough of spike jewelries. This bracelet is
adorable. The spikes are more round and smaller but they also have rhinestones on them.
I love this shade of blue and again spikes are cool! This is another nice bracelet I added to my stash.
Yep, more spikes...I'm not done yet, lol. I picked up a spike headband like this one a few weeks ago but in gold tone so this time I got it in silver tone.
Another pretty but non-spiky headband I purchased. This one has duochromatic beads. This probably won't do a good job at keeping your hair pulled back since the band is quite flexible but it's more of a decorative piece for your head.
I don't know what to call this ring. It looks really cool though. I asked my daughter to be my hand model cause it's so much easier when you don't have to be both the photographer and model, lol.

Hi Lovelies,
Yesterday, I did some major damages but can you tell I'm still happy? lol. I had a date with my kids and we went to the Cheesecake Factory in honor of my son's birthday. He just turned 13.
I had a $10 coupon for DSW and since it was just across the street, I decided to check it out after we got done with lunch.
I bought a pair of shoes for my son and picked up this gorgeous
bag for myself. I've been wanting a beige bag for a while. This is a very light beige color, almost white but still not quite white. I've seen some pretty ones at TJ Maxx but always talked myself out of buying them for some reason. This bag is the Audrey Brooke Rachel Satchel. The material used is genuine leather. I absolutely love everything about this bag. It's got the perfect size, gorgeous gold hardware and trimming, a strap, roomy interior with a few pockets. The style is simple but it's got sophisticated written all over it.
If a designer bag is out of your budget, there are certainly a lot of quality bags out there that won't brake the bank. This is one of them. It is sold at DSW for $119.95. Here's the link for more detail and if you, by any chance, may be interested in getting one for yourself. It also comes in black.

Hello Beautiful,
I hope your weekend is going well. I wanted to take a moment to show you my new kitty. Isn't she purrrrdddyyy?!
I found her at my desk Friday morning along with a lovely card when I arrived to work. Next to her was also a delicious donuts awaiting for me. My eyes just started tearing. I have some incredible friends and I felt all mushy for such a loving and caring gesture.
**sniff** I love you girls! You managed to make me cry and smile, lol.
Sorry guys, enough with the sappy story. Since this was a gift, I really can't tell you where you can find this kitty but I know you can find something similar on Ebay or Amazon. Get one for yourself and one for your BFF. This kitty is adorable, she even have rhinestones in her eyes and she's looking at me like "pet me"! Such a lovely and decorative piece to hold a few rings. It is approximately 4 inches high from the feet to the end of the tail.
Do you have something similar? How do you store your rings?

You may still be able to find these at Sally Beauty's clearance section but they won't last long. These two polishes were part of their 2012 holiday collection.
Santa's Magic may not be a must have since I've seen many likes of it and I do also have some quite similar so I'm not sure why I even picked it up but nonetheless I don't regret it. It's actually easier to work with than my other
holographic glitters. The clear base isn't too thick or goopy, which makes the application a breeze. I can't even remember if I did one or two coats on top of Essie Over The Knee.
Elves Bells applied like liquid gold. It has that antique gold look but with some holographic glitters in it. Super gorgeous! Much prettier and a bit more textured than what it looks like in the bottle. This is two coats and the pigmentation and application was excellent.

Hello Beautifuls,
I'm surprised I still haven't posted this. Anyways, about a week ago I went to CVS and I had a $5 reward coupon. Normally, the CVS in my area seem to be very slow at stocking new products so can you just imagine the shock when I saw that they had the Selena Gomez nail polish collection on display. I wasn't actually too impressed with the collection so I only picked up these
two babes.
Sweet Dreams actually looks a lot sweeter in the bottle than on the nails. It has purple, blue, and silver glitters in a clear base. I have 3 coats on the middle finger, with no base and for the rest I have one coat layered on top of Orly Preamp. I think it picks up a decent amount of glitters on the first pass and is fairly easy to work with. However, I just wasn't feeling it. I think the silver glitters don't belong there cause they are a bit too overpowering and reflective so the other colors just get lost in it.
Heavenly Angel sure appears heavenly but looks can be deceiving. I really like the multi-chrome effect from the flakies though. It shifts from blue to green and orange. They also look stunning on the nails, much brighter and more reflective in person than pictured. They are a bit hard to pick up but are workable. I did two thicker layers to get the effect that you see. My grip about the flakies is that they are a bit stiff and don't lay out flat and smooth. Otherwise, they look really pretty.

Hello,
It's me again with another haul. I went to the mall yesterday cause my son needed to get a birthday present for his girl-friend. I took the opportunity to snag a few beauty item before coming home.
So first, I picked up 3 makeup piece from H&M. I don't know how long they've been selling makeup but I just saw that my local store recently started selling them. I tried to narrow down
to things I probably would use so I settled with a lipstick, cream eyeshadow, and a nail polish. They were around $5-6 a piece, which is pretty reasonable. Have any of you tried their eyeshadows or any of their cosmetics? If yes, what are your thoughts?
Icing's cosmetics are always BOGO 50% off so when I saw that mini set of "valentine" nail polishes, I couldn't resist. It doesn't really have a name but I just refer to it as valentine since they are pink or red with pink and red heart glitters. For my discounted item, I picked of course another glitter. This one has blue and pink glitters as well as holographic star glitters. Looked so pretty and fun.
MAC has some new brow product collection. Hmm, I don't know if it is limited edition but I don't see why it wouldn't be permanent. I only got the brow pencil. Will do a swatch and review soon.
So that's it for this haul. I just received my so called free Zoya polishes today from that promo they just had. I will show you what I got either tomorrow or this weekend.

If you just saw my previous post, I hauled a bunch of nail polishes at TJ Maxx. I also spotted this makeup carrying case and thought that it was so cute with the polka dots, stripes, and satin fabric. It has that sassy style that I love. My old makeup carrying case, well technically it wasn't a makeup case but I just used it as one, was just a fancy looking cardboard box that was getting worn out
and showing signs of wear and tear on the handle. It was time for a new one and this one looked like a keeper. It's roomy enough to fit the necessities and it's also light weight. The case is made by Jack Design, which I never heard of it before but I like how they have the detail of the brand on the zipper slider. It think that was a nice touch. It was only $9.99.
I threw all of my nail polishes in this case and proceeded to do more damages, lol. Just kidding, the only other things I purchased from TJ other than the case and nail polishes are a few boxes of chocolate that were on clearance.
What do you think of my new makeup case? I think it's great for traveling.
