This is my HG makeup remover! It's from a Japanese brand Mandom. They call it a Cleansing lotion, and there are different types for different skin-types. I use the sebum one due to my combo-oily skin. It comes in a pump, which I love, and a pretty large size for the price. It's a very watery consistency, so I had my doubts about it being able to remove my makeup, but it does a fantastic job! I
normally use Neutrogena makeup remover wipes and then use Mandom Cleansing Express for my stubborn waterproof makeup and to get all the stuff off that the wipe didn't.
Have any of you tried this? Thoughts?

In honor of Zelda's 25th anniversary, Nintendo released a limited edition 3DS bundle! It comes with Ocarina of Time 3D, as well, and is a black 3DS with gold triforce design on it. It retails for around $199, and was a best-seller on Black Friday last week!
I'm a huge fan of Zelda and was pretty bummed I didn't get my hands on this last week~

I took my friends to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles for the first time the other day! I've only had it once, but they all wanted to try it. Eating waffles with chicken sounds weird, but it's really good! I don't particularly like to eat everything all together (syrup + salty chicken = not my favorite). I think that Roscoe's has the best waffles I've ever had, though! Their chicken is nothing
amazing, but still very good.

Beef Noodle Soup! It's one of my favorite things to eat, especially during winter. Its a staple in Taiwanese cuisine. I like it with extra spice and Chinese sauerkraut! These particular pictures are just from Guppy's Tea House in Rowland Heights, CA. Have you guys tried it? How do you like it?

I traveled to Galveston, Texas in October for work. It's an island that overlooks the Gulf of Mexico. It was so beautiful! Our hotel was right along the beach so you could see palm trees and the beach, super beautiful! Unfortunately, when I was there, it was rather windy and cold, but I would definitely come here again for the summer!

Hautelook (http://www.hautelook.com) was having a sale on Crown Brushes (http://www.crownbrush.us) around a month and a half ago. I purchased the Pink 10 piece synthetic brush set.
My first impression of the brushes was that there was a strange chemical smell, which comes from the pleather case that comes with it. I aired it out for a day and the smell went away. I typically like to use
synthetic brushes for cream or liquid-y products, but have also used these to apply powders and etc. The brushes themselves are constructed well and of good quality, with no shedding. However, they are not as dense as I would like, but for the price I paid ($25) I can't complain too much!

Hippie Hill! If you ever are in the Haight-Ashbury area of San Francisco, you definitely need to visit Hippie Hill. It's all the way at the end of Haight Street. If you enter the park there and go towards the very back of the park where it's basically an open field, you will have such an interesting experience. Tons of weird things go on at the park, as you can tell from the picture. People bring
their instruments and have musical performances there and perform random stunts like handstands and cartwheels. It's a nice place to relax and watch some pretty crazy stuff.

I recently bought the Revlon Colorstay Pressed Powder because I was running out of my HG powder, ColorFX Mineral Powder Foundation. I didn't check out any reviews or anything because I bought it at Walmart on a whim. I believe I paid around $6.99 for it.
I was kind of afraid after coming home and looking up some reviews on it. Many said that it had poor coverage, broke
them out, cakey-looking, and oxidized. I've been using it almost everyday for about a week now, and I'm happy to say none of that has been true for me! I think that this powder is great for after using my liquid foundation. Gives me adequate coverage and lasts me about 4-5 hours before getting oily. I recommend it!
Have any of you tried it? What do you think?

If any of you are in the Los Angeles area, maybe you've eard of this place! It's in San Pedro and is nicknamed "Sunken City". It's pretty crazy. Basically, in the 1920's, the Southern most part of San Pedro began to literally SINK into the the sea. Now, when you go, the area is fenced off because it's so unstable, but tons of people just climb through and over the fences to see the amazing view
and see the ruins. Pieces of freeway are broken all around with overgrowth of trees and ferns. It's kind of scary, but really fun to visit! There is also alot of amazing graffiti there.

This is Hilltop Park in Signal Hill, California. It's a park on top of a big hill (obviously, by the name! haha) with a gorgeous view of all the surrounding cities in Los Angeles. It's beautiful during the sunset and also at night, when the entire city lights up. I come here pretty often with my friends to have barbecues or just to hang out. If any of you are ever in the area, please check it
out!
