About a month ago I bought myself a new desk, because this year I just want to be more organised and also feel a little bit more relaxed in my own room. My old make up storage was a set of plastic drawers but that was becoming a bit of a pain and I just wasn't happy with it.
My new desk has two drawers. In the first one I keep school related things, such as pens, notebooks, post-its- the
usual. In the second drawer I keep all my make up. I have separated them using PP basket which I purchased for Muji. These baskets from Muji are not very expensive plus they're pretty good quality- lightweight yet sturdy, so it's a thumbs up from me!
I have six contained in total. Three larger ones (Link here), In one I keep face/base products such as foundation, powders and primers, In the second one I store cheek products like blushes and highlighters and finally the third larger one houses my eye shadows- from sleek eye-shadow palettes to single MAC shadows.
Two smaller ones , in the first one I keep a pair of tweezers and my daily lip balm and in the second one I keep concealers such as Bobbi brown's Corrector .
One long one and in here are all my eye liners, pencils and gel, and also my mascaras.
As for Make-up brush storage, I have re-used two tins which came in a bath and body gift set. Very cute and girly.

How do you store your make up and beauty products?
I ordered two things online at debenhams. They were having a 10% off sale and I have wanted to get quit a few things so I decided that now would be the best time to buy the things I want. I didn't buy everything I wanted but I got 2.
Firstly the Dior NUDE SKIN concealer, I have wanted this for a while, so I hope i like it enough and will soon do a full review on my blog. I got the colour 003.
I've never bought anything from dior so I hope it is good.
I also bought a MAC blush- my second MAC blush. The first one is dessert rose which is pretty, dusty pink ad matte but this or more peach and a lovely satin/shimmery finish. The colour is peachkeen. Hopefully i'll have good experience with these and this i will do full reviews on my blog.
So today I had to go out to get some photos taken to renew my passport, which expires in a few months. I thought I would share the products I used. It is a lot more than I would ever wear, but I justified this because my skin has been in terrible condition, the worst in a long time! I don't know if it was hormonal or if because I have oily skin. I haven't been using any new products and my have
been sticking to my skincare routine so I'm not entirely sure. Moving swiftly on...
First I started off with a clean, moisturized face. I then Applied MAC Face and Body Foundation all over my face and also used some to blend down to my neck, using my Real Techniques Buffing Brush. For My oily skin I still have yet to find a great primer. After foundation I primed both my under-eye area and also my eyelids. I used a tiny amount of Lancome's La Base Pro, I don't use this for the rest of my face because it breaks me out. For my eyelids I use my dearest NARS Smudge-proof Eye Shadow base, the only eye primer that lasts on my eyelids. Then I allowed the primers to settle in, while I filled in the sparse areas of my eyebrows using the light brown matte shade in my Avon True Colour Quad, in Mocha Latte. Next I used a flat shading brush to apply the Satin, Taupe shade, again from the Avon True Colour Quad, all over my eye lids. In the inner half of my eyelids I swiped a small amount of MAC All That Glitters Eye Shadow, to brighten the area up. Lastly for eye shadow I took the Dark brown, Matte Eye Shadow from the Avon quad and lightly dusted around the crease area, also took this on the lash line. Took the No7 Eyelash Curlers, to curl my straight lashes and after added a good few coats of my lovely Revlon Photoready 3D Volume Mascara. To highlight and neaten up beneath my eyebrows, I took a small amount of Revlon's Photoready Foundation, which is too light for me to use on my face, but it works perfectly for this purpose. I concealer (which was majorly needed) and corrected using Benefit Boi-ing Concealer and my Beloved Bobbi Brown Corrector!
We're almost finished! I took a fluffy eye shadow brush and lightly dusted a bit of Laura Mercier's Mineral Powder under my eyes, around my nose and wherever else I applied concealer. Last but not least, I contoured, highlighted and applied blush to add some dimension to my face, using Benefit's Bella Bamba and Hoola Bronzer, and Elizabeth Arden's Highlighter in Rose Illumination.
So much make up for one make up look, but it was necessary!

I have been looking for the "Contour Kit" for a while now, probably since Summer 2012. I had been to so many Superdrug stores but I couldn't find it anywhere, so I assumed it was being discontinued. Still not sure about that one. Anyways I went out and just took a little glance at the sleek counter and I saw they have a few. They were all in the lightest shade, but I managed to grab the only
medium shade that was available.
I was really excited to finally have found this. I personally use bronzer only to contour my face and not to make myself look darker. So this being a "contour kit", it is supposedly perfect!
The Product itself come packaged in a very simple black casing, there is no excess packaging (I absolutely hate excess packaging) and it come with a handy sized mirror. It also come with a small instruction manual, to help you contour you cheekbones and nose, which I thought was a nice little touch!
The kit includes a dark, matte brown pressed powder (The contour shade) and an Illuminating powder. Both the highlighter and the contour have great pigmentation. After a few uses, I do quite like both products. The contour shade is quite pigmented, using a light hand when applying and it creates a pretty natural contour and sculpting effect on the cheekbones. The highlighter is also lovely, it's not crazy shimmery like many other highlighters on the market- gives a glowing sheen to the top of the cheekbones. I can't really think of anything bad to say about it, right now.
So far, so good! Plus it's only £6.49, which is a pretty great price for two good products in one.

I used to have a major addiction to eye-shadow, and wear neutral eye-shadows almost every time I wore make up, but recently with school being so hectic I just wear very simple make up to school which no longer includes eye-shadow. However sometimes I do like to experiment with the eye-shadows in my collection and try out different combinations.
Lately I have been sporting this eye look, when
I'm wearing eye-shadow. I have to admit I am quite proud of my little combination. It is simple enough to wear to everyday functions but still can look quite classy and elegant.
Firstly I start off with my good old NARS Smudge-Proof Eye Shadow Base, a must for my eye-shadows to stay put. Then I apply the Satin, Taupe shade from this Avon True Colour Quad, in Mocha Latte. A bit of MAC All That Glitters Eye-Shadow in the inner half of my eyelid. Next the dark brown shade, again from the Avon quad which using a pencil brush I very lightly apply to the crease, for a subtle contour. Lastly smudge some of Bourjois Intense Eye-Shadow in 10 (A matte black) along the upper lash line. Finished off with Revlon Photoready 3D Volume Mascara on the upper eyelashes, and any product remaining on the brush was applied to the bottom lashes. Afterwards a bit of Lancome's Le Crayon Khol in Noir was added to the outer third of the lower waterline.
Pretty simple, Right?!

I hate a huge love/hate relationship with mascaras. Mostly because I don't have the loveliest natural lashes and so not many mascaras can actually make them look the ways I like. So when I find a mascara that I like, I can ensure you I'm serious. I do like it!
My all time favourite Mascara is the Benefit "They're Real". The packaging is gorgeous, The product itself just works really well in
creating longer, fuller, more voluminous lashes minus the clumps you get with many mascaras. However the price = £18.50 (Yikes!) Considering I through away and repurchase mascara every 3-4 months.
The Good: Its doesn't clump my eyelashes. It hold a curl fairly well for a good few hours. It separates and lengthens my lashes. It is available from boots at £10.99, which is an average price but still think the high-street brands are rising their prices. You can get it in three colour, a dark brown (for a more natural look), Black or Blackest Black,a black for a great dramatic look.
The Bad: The fault of this though is the end of the wand, usually has too much product on it. So when ever I'm using it I have to wipe a bit of the product off to be able to use that part with out getting huge clumps. There is only one formulation available and I think it is not waterproof, so if you like waterproof mascaras this might not be for you.
Overall I do think I will repurchase this mascara because it is very rare that I find a mascara that actually works for me. It hasn't topped my Benefit they're Real, but considering the price difference I guess it's acceptable.

On a simple College day I don't really wear very much make up, in fact most of the time a little concealer, some eyeliner and BAM(!) I'm out the door. But this "face of the day" shows the most I ever wear to College. After all we do go to school to learn. My subjects are quite hectic so I don't like to wear much because, I feel the more I wear, the more I need to touch up throughout the
day.
For my face I started out by apply a teeny tiny amount of Lancome's La Base Pro, an oil-free make up primer. This is reduce those creasing lines that I get from my under eye corrector. After I cover my blemishes and acne scars using Benefit's Boi-ing Concealer. I only fill in the sparse areas of my brows using a matte light brown colour from an Avon True colour quad in Mocha Latte. I don't really wear eye-shadows on a daily basis. I used to wear eye shadow or my face powder to cover the discoloration on my eyelids but latley over the past few weeks I've tried to tone down my make up. One the outer third of my lower lash line I applied and smudged a bit of No7 metallic eye pencil in Purple. Next I correct my under eye area using Bobbi Brown's corrector, and this glides on beautifully because I put the primer on underneath. The last part of the eyes is a bit of mascara, and my current favourite has been Revlon Photoready 3D Volume mascara. The wand is very similar in shape to my all time favourite mascara- Benefit's They're Real. Finally using a fluffy eye-shadow blush I take a small amount of Laura Mercier's Mineral Power and sweep that under the eyes, again to increase lasting power and reduce creasing. I also dust this over my T-Zone because it keeps the shine under control.

Boots is currently holding a 3 for 2 offer on most bath and body brands. Being a major fan of soap and glory, I know that without offers they can be a bit pricey (but still cheaper than the obvious high-end brands). I thought I would take advantage the offer and buy some things I've had my eye on for a while.
Flake Away -£7, The Breakfast Scrub -£9.50 and Hand Food- £5 (But I got Hand Food
for free because of the 3 for 2 offer)
First the Flake Away body scrub. This is a repurchase, I have almost used up all of the first one. This smells amazing and reveals glowing skin underneath. I tend to use this Once a week or sometime once a fortnight, all depending on how I feel. The beautiful body exfoliator contains shea butter, sweet almond oil, peach seed powder, sea salt and sugar, Woah(!).
The next two products have never been tried or tested by me, but I have wanted them for a while.
The Breakfast Scrub, This smells just divine. So good, you'll be convinced it's edible, but it's not. I did put a teeny bit on the tip of my tongue and from experience I can tell you it doesn't taste so great. This baby has oat, Shea butter, sugar and banana, almond plus honey extracts. The great scent is from the maple fragrance!
The free Products I got from this 3 for 2 offer was the Hand Food, Hand Cream. This beauty claims to be non-greasy and hydrating. It has shea butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow.
I have been trying it for the last few days applying it on my hands before I go to bed and I agree that it's non- greasy and hydrating. It also leaves my skin super duper smooth.
Apologies for the extremely yellow picture!
What is your favourite Bath and body brand?
A few weeks ago, my family and I attended a wedding of a cousin of mine.
Asian, Bengali to be specific wedding are crazy. Very busy, everyone is happy and the bride obviously looks beautiful. The bride usually sports quite a dramatic make up look.
As for the brides outfit, traditional outfits are usually red and gold.
So the "new Luuux" has become kind of ridiculous for us to earn points from and to gain cool prizes and purchases from.
I definetley do not regret my time on Luuux, because we were a cool little community and evryone seemed friendly and familiar. I also made a really lovely real life friend! who left luuux quite a while ago.
I'm really busy with school and studying now, so I do not really
want to be worrying about earning $LUUUX when I could be spending that time studying.
But Luuux did teach me that I actually really do enjoy blogging, writing about beauty products and expressing my thoughts on different things so that is why I started my own personal blog (mid 2012) through blogger.
I tend to post on there pretty regularly and keep my followers updated on life and my side of beauty.
I would love to hear fellow Luuuxians thoughts and constructive critisism is welcome.
So here is the link to my blog: http://nabalicious.blogspot.co.uk/
I hope everyone who remains to blog on luuux gets the prizes they want, although it seems like it will be a long wait!
Love you all - Nabilah xx
