Hi everyone! Here is my look of the day using my theBalm’s Nude’tude eyeshadow palette. I haven’t used this palette in a while so I thought I would use it today to create this look. In the Pictures my eye makeup may look like a dark brown smokey eye, but it’s really like a burgundy eye with some gold in it.

Earlier today I made a quick trip to Tapioca Express with my mom while we were shopping. I was about to get my usual taro milk tea but I actually ended up getting my second go to drink which is a lychee snowbubble with mini pearls (right). My mom on the other hand got an avocado snowbubble with pearls (left). I tried her drink and I didn’t like it at all! I didn’t like it and I think has to
do with the fact that I don’t like the taste of avocado when it’s sweet. I love avocado but I just prefer savory avocado flavors.
Have any of you tried these drinks before?
What do you usually like to order at boba places?
Finally here is my review of the Olay exfoliating renewal cleanser! I got this in a set with my pro-x cleansing system back during the holidays so I've been using this for quite some time now. Since this is an exfoliating type of product I only use this about once or twice a week sometimes with my pro-x cleansing system or just by rubbing it on my face with my fingers. I only use this at least
one to two times a week just because you don’t want to over exfoliate or dry out your skin.
Originally when I bought my Pro-x system I got mine at Costco because I thought it was good value since it came with this full sized bottle of cleanser and also an extra brush head. I was however a bit hesitant to try something new because my skin care routine already works great for me and I didn’t want to try something “new” at the risk of irritating my skin or breaking out, but I put my worries aside and just went for it. The first time I tried this I thought it left my skin feeling very clean and also leaves my skin feeling soft. It’s a milky white cream with white micro exfoliating beads in it and I use about a nickel size amount. I was shocked that this is a very gentle on the skin considering the fact that this is an exfoliater. There are small exfoliating granules in this but the granules are very fine and not harsh at all. If you have tried the St. Ives facial exfoliators or scrubs to me they are way too harsh and the granules in them are very rough, but this Olay one is not at all. It’s actually pretty gentle enough for you to possibly use once a day even thought I only use it at least up to 2 times a week. Besides cleaner and smoothing skin I’ve also noticed that it’s helped with acne. Now I don’t have a severe problem with acne, but I do once I a while have break outs. Usually when I start to feel that I have a break out or if I currently have a blemish I use this and it really helps dry it out and it also helps keep my skin clear. Another thing I’ve noticed since using this product is that my skin color seems to be evening out. I don’t have an even skintone at all but since using this I have noticed that my skin tone has slightly evened out. I really do love this product and I’ve totally worked it into my skin care routine. This is a full size 6 fl oz. bottle and I don’t use much so this will definitely last a long time which it good. I have seen though at stores that this is priced at about $20 and that’s a lot to me but it’s a good product and a full size bottle will last you a long time so to me it would be worth it. Plus, the Olay Pro-x line usually goes on sale once in a while at the drugstores and target.
Since the holidays when I got my pro-x system, I’ve mostly been focusing on skin care and taking care of my skin and I’ve been so regimented when it comes to skin care for about 3 months now and I can definitely see a difference with my skin now in comparison to months ago. I’m embarrassed to say this but before I never use to take this good care of my skin but my skin care routine now is a must do. I can never go to bed at night with just taking off my makeup with a makeup wipe it doesn’t matter how late or how tired I am at night I will go through my skin routine. I feel that’s the best way to go about it because you will notice how much better you skin is just by taking really good care of it.
Have you ever tried this or do you use it?
What are some products that are part of your skin care routine?
Here is another one of my M.A.C. lipstick freebies from back to M.A.C.. This one is called Craving.
I actually had a little bit of an accident when I was about to photograph this lipstick. I had it opened and twisted all the way up and I don’t really remember what exactly I was doing but I know I was holding something else besides the open lipstick and all of a sudden it just broke and I
gasped incredibly loud. I was so mad at myself but so that’s why it kinda looks messed up in the picture but trust me it looks worse on the other side of it. If you follow me in Instagram you already know what it looks like! Lol
So that’s enough of my little rant! I did fix it so I’ll see how long it’ll hold up. I wasn’t planning on getting this and honestly I didn’t even know about this lipstick. It just so happened to catch my eye on this particular day and I tried it on and fell in love! It’s an amplified finish so what you see in the tube is what you get on your lips. It’s a very pigmented lipstick and it’s also creamy and easy to apply. The color is a pinkish berry color with shine but no shimmers or glitters in it.
I’m easily drawn to colors like this and for some reason I feel like I have something like this already so I’m going to have to check my lipstick stash but even if I did already have something like this it doesn’t hurt to have another one that’s really similar!
Do you like lipstick colors like this?
Do you have this M.A.C. lipstick?
I was in a baking mood today to I ended up baking a s'mores brownie pie! It's seriously the easiest thing ever to make and anyone can make this.
what you need
• Ready made graham cracker pie crust or you can make your own.
• Brownie mix or your own recipe from scratch
• Bag or marshmallows whichever size you want.
procedure
1.) First prepare your brownie mix and follow the
directions on the box.
2.) Next pour the batter into the pie crust. I filled mine three fourths of the way up but I had leftover batter that I just baked separately in a cupcake/muffin pan.
3.) Bake according to box.
4.) When done baking take out the pie and top with marshmallows.
5.) With the oven on broiler put the pie back into the oven. You have to watch it very carefully because it can easily burn! Leave it in until it's golden brown or at the desired color you want.
6.) Viola it's done!
This is seriously the easiest thing ever to make! I used store bought pie crust and boxed brownie mix but of course you can make both of those from scratch.
Have you ever had of made this before?
Here’s is one of my free M.A.C. lipsticks that I got because of back2mac. This particular one is called Half ‘N Half and it is an amplified finish. I was looking for a new “nude” lipstick because I just wasn’t satisfied with the ones I already had. With the help of one of the MUA’s I ended up getting this one. It’s actually perfect because my 2 other favorite “nude” lipsticks
from M.A.C. are Cherish and Taupe. Cherish is sometimes too nude and light for me and Taupe is darker with some red toes to it so Half N’ Half really is between those 2 and it’s just perfect for me.
Half ‘N Half like I said is an amplified lipstick and it’s a warm pinky-brown nude color. There are different tones of nude lipstick and this one is not just straight up flesh tone nude but its much warmer which is good for me so that I don’t look washed out.
Do any of you have this lipstick?
Target haul time!!! One of the target’s in my area is closing because there is a newer and bigger one being built taking its place that’s opening next month! I went in with the intention of buying some essentials and to also see if there was anything good on clearance in the makeup section but by the time I got there it was all wiped out!
Here’s what I did ended up getting:
•
Crest 3D white toothpaste
• Scope Outlast
• L’oréal infallible eyeliner
• St. Ives Naturally Indulgent coconut milk & orchid extract lotion: I usually get the oatmeal & shea butter naturally soothing one but I wanted to try something new and I also thought that the coconut & orchid one smelled so good.
• Umberto Beverly Hilly blow dry lotion: I use to use this all the time a long time ago but I’ve been using this a lot lately since I’ve cut my hair and I blow dry my hair a lot more these days. I ran out so I had to get a new bottle.
Have you tried any of these products?
What have you recently hauled from Target?
I finally got around to using my newest nail polish which is the Sally Hansen Gem Crush polish called Big Money. Big Money is a champagne glitter polish with purple round glitters mixed in. The gem crush polish isn't as opaque as I thought it would be like a Milani one coat glitter polish so that's why I decided to layer it over Essie's Sand Tropez. At first I was just going to use Big Money on
the ring finger as an accent nail but when I painted Big Money on that one nail I saw how gorgeous it was and then just decided to add the glitter to all the nails! :)
What I Did:
• One coat of Milani’s Smoothé Base Coat
• One coat of Essie’s Sand Tropez
• 2-3 coats of Big Money
• One coat of Seche Vite’s Top Coat
What do you currently have on your nails?
I’ve been sick for the past 2 days, I stayed home all day yesterday but today I had to go out and buy more DayQuil and I also went to Safeway to get some groceries. My Safeway has a Starbucks kiosk inside so before leaving Safeway with my groceries I stopped by Starbucks to get a green tea latte and a tiramisu cake pop. I wasn’t in the mood for coffee so I settled for tea plus I thought it
would me good for my sore throat. I also got the cake pop because I’ve never tried the tiramisu flavor before and it always seems to be out whenever I’m at Starbucks and I’m at Starbucks a lot! I wanted to try it but it was pretty much a fail because I since I’m stick I couldn’t even taste it! Lol
So yeah that was my Starbucks drink of the day. What do you like to order from Starbucks?
