Normally, when you're seeing pink animals you're most likely drunk. If you're seeing pink hippos, you're probably in Kenya.
A pink hippo was recently spotted on the banks of Kenya by a couple who were on one of their nature expeditions. A pink hippo is not only rare, but only ever so often is it spotted. The cause for a pink hippo is leucitic, meaning the animal has reduced skin pigmentation.
Never before have I seen such a thing. I thinks is a w e s o m e . Yay for pink things.
This brings a whole new meaning to that song " I want a hippopotamus for Christmas".

So we all want to try to stay in the best shape possible. Weather its for weigh loss or just pure health reasons, we should be cautious about what we put in our bodies. I'm a big hypocrite, because all I eat is JUNK. I have a big salt tooth, and could live on Chinese Food alone.
Recently I've decided to venture into a more healthier approach by eating brown rice to cure my craving. Instead of
ordering take out, I'll boil up some brown rice and add about a teaspoon of teriyaki sauce. Completely fills me up and makes me happy. I wasn't to fond of it by itself, but adding the teriyaki sauce REALLY makes a difference. It gives it some flavor and leaves it less boring.
I wanted to know what your favorite guilt free foods are?
Something that cures your cravings without the calories!

I was on MTV.com today when I stumbled across something that said "Kim Kardashian wants to act". I read threw the article, and she mentioned that she is currently looking at scripts and would like to be in either an action or romantic comedy. I don't know about this. I have a pet peeve with reality stars hitting big screens. It just doesn't work. They are two completely different fields and do
not think they should be mixed. IF she can pull it off, more power to her!!
I kinda feel like lately, TV has just been a popularity contest. They are taking people who are popular, not people who are good for the show/movie. Take Dancing with the Stars for instance. The Situation, Bristol Palin?? Come on.
I don't know..just a thought :)

This picture has been floating all over the internet today. Two Kardashians, 1 dress! There was speculation that the dress was from a Herve Leger collection. Turns out, it is actually a dress from their BeBe Fall collection. Talk about self promotion :-)

I was weary to add this post into my Budget Beauty series, since I personally think this mascara deserves its own review, but because this is affordable, I added.
I always saw this mascara hanging from the shelves in the beauty isle at CVS. Its not hard to miss, since its bright yellow and purple. It would always seem to catch my eye and I always meant to try it. For some reason, I wasted time
on other mascaras and never gave this one a chance. Total regret.
At around $6, I don't know how I didn't ever pick this one up.
The review:
This mascara claims to give your lashes 9X the volume instantly. Although I wouldn't say 9X, I will definitely say it showed a dramatic difference. It brought my lashes to new lengths and gave them that falsies look. I do have to build it up, in order to get them there, but if you have long lashes to begin with then its PERFECT. I didn't notice any clumping, and for that..I give the colossal 5 stars.
I recommend checking this one out next time your at the drugstore. Its right up there with my Cover Girl Lash blast, and you girls no I praise that mascara!

I had the honor of being able to attend the MAC Venemous Villians event in SoHo the other night and getting a first look at the collection. Before I go on, let me just say I was so looking forward to everything. My shopping list was huge and I was ready to spend hundreds haha.
The place was packed. We had to wait on line to get in. I was with my dear friend Yuliya (cutiegingerbread) though, so
waiting wasn't bad! When we finally got in, there were girls swarmed all over the products swatching, applying, chatting, grabbing. I swatched whatever I could, and honestly wasn't impressed.
Everything seems okay. And just okay, for a highly anticipated collection just isn't enough. Out of everything, I would say the lipsticks are where your money should go. They were all real pigmented and gorgeous! The eyeshadows, eh I passed.
I recommend checking this collection out for yourself when it arrives to your MAC store/counter. Everyone has different taste so maybe something I didn't enjoy, you will :)

MAC recently launched a new line called Pro Longwear. It consists of 1 foundation, 1 concealer, as well as a wide variety of new lipstick shades in the Longwear Creme section. I'm not a liquid foundation person, so I decided to skip, but I did pick up the concealer as well as a lipstick. I'm still waiting for mine to come in the mail (didn't have time to go pick it up), but just wanted to get
your thoughts/opinions on the products. Tried any of them yet?
I heard the Pro Longwear "face" line is quite heavy, and needs to be mixed with a moisturizer. True/false?
I'll do an updated blog post when I try mine out!

I saw this quote on Twitter from the lovely @ihatequotes. I can't believe how perfect it is. In my eyes, that is exactly what a hater is. Someone who cannot stand to see you succeed. There is so much drama and hatred on the internet these days, I just had to share it with you all.

Something you guys either may or may not know about me, is that I'm a HUGE baker. I'm Italian, so of course knowing what you're doing in the kitchen is a necessity in life. My grandma used to teach me how to cook/bake all the time, and I always used to help out on holidays. I have always admired specialty cakes and always wanted to get the knack for it. I have done a few before, but nothing
compared to these amazing ones! I've attached some really fun cakes I found on google :) I love these! Huge props to the creators!
