BzzAgent: Neutrogena

If you don’t know what being a BzzAgent is, it is a website ww.bzzagent.com where they invite you to be a part of campaigns and they send you samples (sometimes full sizes) of things in order to review for marketing research purposes. All you have to do is fill out some surveys to be invited, then once you’re invited you have to “bzz” about it on FaceBook, Twiiter, and face-to-face and report back your findings and reviews. The more active you are on the site, the higher bzz score you will get, and in turn you will be invited to more campaigns =) This campaign is for Neutrogena, which I haven’t used in years! Neutrogena was one of the first brands I tried when I first started wearing make up, before I discovered Sephora and MAC. I must say they have stepped their game up since then! The products I was most excited about were the Revitalizing Lip Balms! I’ve heard so many great things about these, they are comparable to Revlon’s lip butters and Maybelline’s Baby Lips. It came with 3 different shades - Healthy Blush (pink) Petal Glow (mauve) and Sunny Berry (fushia) So far Healthy Blush is my fave. I might do a comparison post since I have these, the lip butters, and baby lips. Let me know if that’s something you want to see. The next thing is the Brightener in Medium. This isn’t coverage but it does have a brightening effect. So far I have found it to work best underneath my concealer. So far so good, but I wouldn’t purchase this on my own. (Maybe I’ll use the $2 off coupon for this) Last thing is the Nourishing Eye liner in Cosmic Black. This is creamy but not as pigmented as I like. Not sure what “cosmic” means but this is more of a greyed black. I like my eyeliners pitch black! Like MAC’s Smolder. This would be good for those who don’t want a harsh black I guess lol Do you use Neutrogena? What are your favorite products? **photos & content are mine**

Julep Spring Mystery Box

This post is a little late because I just got my Julep Cinco de Mayo mystery box yesterday so I wanted to post this Spring one first, which was from last month. If you’ve been following me or you’re my friend here on Luuux then you know I’m a Julep Maven and I’ve been posting my boxes every month since the program started. If you’re wondering where my posts have been I actually skipped April because I had similar colors to what they were offering in the boxes. But then I saw they had a mystery box and I’m a sucker for those things lol. Mystery boxes are $19.99 and this is what I got in mine: 3 nail colors Helena - Which I already own and it is one of my favorites!!! It is the most gorgeous bright neon purple. Perfect for summer! Hayden - A really pretty pastel orange. Can’t wait to try this one out! I think it will look good with my medium yellow under toned skin tone lol Melissa - A pearly iridescent blue. This is going to be so pretty over something. Ahh I just don’t know what yet! haha These are $14 each so already I got my money’s worth. I also got The Fast Dry Topcoat which is usually $14 and the Cuticle Oil which is $18. So I got $74 worth of stuff for $19.99 I also got a nail file and some chocolate lol I’m so glad I got this rather than my April Maven box which just consisted of 2 polishes and a foot lotion if I remember correctly. Stay tuned for my Cinco de Mayo box. I will link it once I post it. I also skipped my May box and I was so glad I did too!! Are you a Julep Maven? Finally! The Target Beauty Bag

I finally received the Target Beauty Bag. Pretty sure I was the last person to get theirs lol I’m just really excited and thankful I got one so I still wanna share it =) And I’m really sorry to those who didn’t get one this time around =( Hopefully next time they will give out more!! The bag itself is the perfect size to throw in my purse so I automatically love it for that fact right there. The brand of the bag is SOHO and I love the orange and purple stripes. The samples are: Pantene’s Color Preserve Volume shampoo - I love Pantene and can’t wait to try this formula out. Nivea Extended Moisture lotion - Perfect purse sized sample hehe Neutrogena Visibly Bright cleanser - I’ve had my eye on this so I’m really glad this came with the bag! Simple cleansing facial wipes - I’m excited to try this brand out!! L’Oreal Magic Lumi light infusing primer - A little skeptical of this one but we will see. And of course we got tons of coupons. I’ll probably only use the Revlon one because I lost my favorite Lip Butter - Strawberry Shortcake =( Did you get this beauty bag? What are your favorite samples?? **photos & content are mine**

Overdue Wal Mart Haul

Overdue Wal Mart Haul This haul is so old I bought stuff while I was on winter vacay and didn’t have my sparkly purple background and needed to take pics before I started using the products but oh well here it goes: First thing is Maybelline Eye Studio Color Explosion Eye Shadow in Amethyst Ablazed. These were super popular at the time and the purple and pink ones were the only ones left on the display. I’m glad I got the purple I will be doing an eye of the day with it soon. Next thing were Baby Lips. I had the peppermint one already and knew I wanted more I picked up Peach Kiss and Cherry Me which are both really pigments on my lips. I love them! I really want to pink and grape one now. Next is a Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick. I heard this was really moisturizing lipstick so I chose Auburn Breeze because it’s a your lips but better color just a tad darker. I love the consistency of these lipsticks and will definitely be purchasing more! Next is Nicole by OPI Kardashian Collection in Khloe Had a Little Lam Lam. Not gonna lie bought this because of the name lol I love Lamar so I thought it was cute. This is going to be my fave winter color because it almost looks black and those are my fave kind of polishes. REALLY dark colors. Its going to be a tough spring and summer lol Next is the Sally Hansen Nail Strips Duo which is only available at Wal Mart. This was 10.99 which was amazing since 1 is regularly 8.99 I love glitters too so I was really happy to find this one there. Last thing was Impress nails. I have yet to try these but hopefully they look nice since I hate acrylics now but miss the French tip nail look. Once I use these I will be doing a nail of the week. Well that was my overdue haul. Finished Products of April

Finished Products of April This month I tried really hard to finish up some old MAC products and I finally did!! This first thing I finished was MAC’s eyeshadow in D’Bohemia which was from a collection years ago! It was a tangerine shade which is very in right now and since I was tan this month it looked great with my skintone. I will be trying to find a new shade like this soon. The next MAC product was a Pink Shade stick. The name has rubbed off so I have no idea what it was called. Does MAC even make these anymore? lol I now use the NYX Jumbo pencils which are more pigments and a fraction of the cost. The last MAC product is a Mineralized Skin Finish in Shimpagne. It was a champagne colored highlight and I would use it to highlight my cheekbones, brow bone and would also use it as an all over lid color when I wasn’t tan. I’m not a huge highlighting person so I’m not sure if I will be looking for a new MSF. I do have Benefit’s High Beam if I want to highlight. I finished 2 perfumes this month. The first being Kat Von D’s Sinner which was in a deluxe size sample but it literally lasted me forever!! I might buy the full size, haven’t decided yet. The second perfume is Hope by Tallulah Jane This is an organic perfume meaning it is all natural It was an okay scent but once it wore it smelled a bit on the grandma side to me. It’s pretty expensive for just this 1 oz bottle but this was given to me so I will not be purchasing this. I also finished my Tea Tree scrub from the Body Shop. This claimed to get rid of blackheads. It didn’t. I wasn’t a fan of the smell either. It didn’t feel like a strong enough exfoliator to me. It also didn’t do much for breakouts. I will not be repurchasing. The last product is The Body Shop’s Cocoa Butter Body Scrub. This is my favorite scrub and I will repurchase this forever lol Gotta wait til the body shop has a great deal for it though! LUSH Haul!!

Haven’t done a Lush haul in soooo long!! I was excited because I had my 5 empty pots so you know what that meant…..free face mask!!! The mask I chose was Ayesha because it is meant for “mature” skin and I’m trying to add more anti aging products into my routine. The girl even said to use it before I go out because it smoothes any lines that I may have. Well I had nowhere to go so I just used it when I got home lol and this might be my new favorite Lush mask. It made my skin softer than ever and it really did smooth out any imperfections and made my pores look much smaller. Love Lettuce has a run for its money (my fave before I found this new miracle mask) The next thing I had my eye on for awhile was No Drought, their new dry shampoo. I heard it doesn’t leave a grey tint which has been my biggest issue. Ive tried this and yes it doesn’t leave a grey tint but it left my scalp ghost white! And its also very messy, it looks like I got baby powder everywhere. Still have yet to find a good dry shampoo… I also have had my eye on Lovely Jubblies, for prevention purposes lol and ive heard it works! The girl even said its hard to keep it on the shelves and it might now be their most sold product. I believe it because everytime ive gone to get it, its been sold out! and once a girl tried to give me a sample and when she looked in the tester jar it was empty! lol I haven’t tried it yet but plan on doing a full review! The next thing I got was the Fresh Pharmacy face soap, only because I hear a lot of great things about it. I will be doing a review on this as well, hopefully it clears up some breakouts ive been getting a lot of lately. The last thing I almost didn’t buy because I have so many lotions and I still have my Strawberry Feels Forever massage bar. This is Love Potion from Valentines Day. If your Lush still has it BUY IT!!! It is the best smelling massage bar I have tried and I regret not buying back ups of it! If it comes out next year I will definitely be stocking up. I suck at describing scents and its not on the site anymore but it smells like jasmine and fruity…2 of my faves. What are your favorite Lush products? Zoya Haul Part 2

I had a $10 off coupon code so I thought now’s the time to finally get a nail polish thinner!! Ive been meaning to get one for the longest time for some of my OPI glitters. They have become ridiculously thick I cant even do accent nails anymore, let alone a whole hand of glitter. I got the Renew Nail Polish Rejuvenator for $8 and it also came with a dropper which is really convenient. And since the code didn’t work for shipping I didn’t want 2 bucks to go to waste so I decided to get a nail color. I chose Shelby which is a cool toned Pink from their Beach Summer Collection. It is a cream and a 5 on the opaqueness scale on zoya.com This is probably the girliest pink I own but I love it and cant wait to try it out! Keep an eye out for a nail of the week post. Zoya Haul Part 1

This haul is from awhile ago when Zoya was having a promotion where you got free shipping and a free red polish with ANY purchase! I knew I wanted to get the Zoya Plus Nail Polish remover in the 8oz bottle because I heard the dispenser was the best thing ever! And it is! I love how easy it is to use and it pumps out the perfect amount of remover. I also love the actual nail polish remover because its gentle and its better for your nails! I have noticed that it doesn’t dry out my nails like most removers. You can really tell its nourishing. I took awhile trying to find a red polish because I wanted a more warm toned red, on the orange side with shimmer or glitter. I finally found Kimmy, which is a orange red with golden shimmer, exactly what I was looking for! The remover was $9.99 and shipping and the polish was free woo hoo! Just had to pay some tax.
