Another nail of the day with my favourite brand of polish OPI. I haven't used Lincoln Park After Dark in so long, so I thought I'd pull it back out for Autumn. I love this colour on it's own but I thought I'd be adventurous and try some nail art. I am hopeless with stripes but I think this worked out alright. I used a toothpick to draw the stripes on with China Glaze's White Out. I was aiming to
do the thumb design on all nail's but after taking so long to do one thumb, I decided to do just one stripe on all the other nails.
What do you think of this design? I think it's a bit edgy but still subtle.

Yes another haul within a week, I know I have a problem. But I was supposed to go and buy materials to make some DIY things, but I couldn't find anything, so I got my angry shopping mood on and ended up in Priceline. ><
I decided to treat myself to a new loofa and creamy body wash. The Palmolive Body Wash smells amazing; I used it when I got home and the scent has stayed all afternoon, and it
made my skin feel really nice. The loofa is nice and dense and isn't scratchy like other cheap loofa's.
I picked up a cheap lash adhesive from GlamNails. It was about $4 I think and I just wanted a cheaper one because I'm experimenting with false lashes at the moment and I'm not sure if I'll like using them yet so didn't want to spend too much on glue. I also bought another Sally Hansen Polish in the shade Gunmetal. I think this shade will be great for Winter and I can't wait to try it out.

As I posted in my last haul, I picked up another Sally Hansen polish in Red Cherry and had to paint my nails with it immediately. I love this colour. Honestly, you can't go wrong with a red polish but I love how this colour goes perfectly with my skin tone and just gives a nice bright touch to my hands.
Has anyone tried this polish?

My boyfriend's graduation from TAFE was on Tuesday night and I was having so much trouble figuring out what to wear because it was at night, we're heading into winter so it was freezing, plus because it's not Uni graduation it wasn't as fancy dress. So this is what I came up with, I also had a grey coat on when I was outside but it was warmer inside so I was able to take it off.
The outfit
basically consists of a simple black chiffon dress with small stars on it. I paired it with opaque black stockings because as I said it was freezing outside, and a plain grey cardigan. On my feet I wore my new novo black flats, and for more warmth I added my hand knitted cable knit scarf that I have a post on.
What are your thoughts on this outfit? When I look back at photos I feel like I look like a grandma lol.

I have been searching for plain black flats for the longest time and I honestly didn't realise it would be so hard but it was. Everything I found was either heeled, or super glittery, or just didn't come in my size. I had almost given up until I finally found this pair.
I purchased these faux leather black flats with an adorable bow on the front from Novo. I'm sure if you're from Australia you
can purchase them online but these were actually on sale in store. They were originally $50 down to $40 which is enough of a sale for me. They're very comfortable, only rubbing a bit on the front of my foot, but I think thats more because I have rather wide feet, and they are designed to be more narrow.
What do you think of these flats?

I havent been to Priceline in so long so I decided to stop by today since I needed a new deodorant anyway. I was worried I would go overboard but I only purchased 3 things so I'm quite proud of myself.
As I said I needed a new deodorant and I've been seeing a lot of commercials about this clinical protection deodorant. I don't have a huge problem in regards to sweating and all that, but when
I'm stressed it can get bad, so I thought I'd give this a try. If it works out, hopefully I'll post a review on it.
I also purchased another Sally Hansen Extreme Wear Nail Polish, this time in Cherry Red. I love these nail polishes, and I just can't stop picking up a new one every time I see them. Lastly I just added a hand sanitiser which smells like marshmallows, just because I needed a new one for my purse and it was cheap.

Another small favourites but I'm still working on using up the products I have before buying new ones so this is basically what I've been loving this month that hasn't been mentioned before. I've been so busy this month with assignments and being still being sick so I haven't had the opportunity to experiment much, but these products are basics that I honestly think should be included in
everyone's daily life.
Conair Wide Toothed Shower Comb
One key tip for growing out your hair is brushing out all the tangles and knots before you wash it. Your hair is weaker when its wet so trying to get tangles out when shampooing will result in breakage. I hang this in my shower so I always remember to comb through my hair before I wet it and I actually love it so much that I use it as my daily comb as well. My hair is quite fine so I don't need a brush and this does a great job at smoothing my hair and leaving it without tangles.
Lucas Papaw Ointment
I actually think I have mentioned this before but I love it so much especially since the weather has been getting colder here in Australia. I apply this before putting my makeup on in the morning and at night before I go to bed and it helps to keep my lips smooth and not chapped throughout the day.
Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie
This is the one product I broke my project pan for. I had to get these and I'm so glad I did. While they aren't as moisturising as I thought they would be, I love the pigmentation and they don't dry out my lips as other lipsticks do.
Aveeno Intense Relief Hand Cream
Working in childcare and constantly washing your hands, they get so dry so I needed a good hand cream. This cream is really nice and thick but doesn't leave your hands greasy which is great. It also doesn't have a smell so I don't feel sick throughout the day, constantly smelling it.
Listerine Zero Mouthwash
I've always had a fear of mouthwash because I'm not great with strong mint flavours and I was always worried it would burn my tongue, but I finally gave this a try and I'm so glad. It doesn't burn at all and it just leaves your mouth feeling so fresh for hours afterwards. If you're worried about mouthwash being to strong I definitely recommend searching for a mild version because they are worth it.
Vivienne Westwood's Naughty Alice Perfume
I received this for Christmas and was putting off using it because I wanted to use up my cheaper perfumes first. I couldn't resist though because the smell is so gorgeous and I've absolutely loved it the past few weeks. It's fresh but fruity at the same time and lasts pretty much all day.
Were these products in your favourites this month?

I love pastel pink nails and since the weather is getting colder so quickly lately I thought I'd push in one more Spring colour before sticking with dark polishes for winter. I purchased this polish after loving the last two I bought from Sally Hansen but I'm actually quiet sad to say that I did not enjoy this polish.
While I love the colour in itself, the finish let me down. It was thicker
than usual on application yet it went quite streaky, seeming to settle around my cuticles. I had to apply three coats to eliminate the streaks, but it still settled around my cuticles making it quite hard to clean up.
Has anyone else had this trouble with this brand? I really want to purchase more colours, but I'm worried they're a bit hit and miss.

So like everybody said it would, my Elf Liquid Eyeliner pen finally dried up. I'm actually pretty angry about it, because I stored it upside down so the liquid would run to the tip, I always placed the cap on tight and it honestly had become my favourite eyeliner. Id finally mastered how to use it and I loved that it stayed all day without smudging but still came off easily when I wanted it
to.
After all this, I need recommendations for a new liquid eyeliner pen that's fairly priced and works just as well. Please help me.
My favourite piece for winter is definitely scarves. I love how they can make a dull outfit so much more interesting and they keep you warm. Therefore, it made sense that I make my own scarves as a way of saving money, as well as keeping entertained. This is my most recent project that I finally finished last night and I'm so proud.
I love cable scarves especially because they are so chunky and
warm and have that extra bit of detail. I have very few coloured scarves so I love the purple colour of this one because i feel like it will bring a sense of warmth or happiness on a dull winter day, as silly as that sounds.
If your interested in making this for yourself I'll link the website for the pattern in the source link. I personally used Veronica Yarn from Lincraft which is equivalent to about a 12 ply, with US10.5 or 6.5mm needles. The scarf this length including tassels took 3 balls and set me back $12 which in Australia is a great price for a scarf.
